Hi, I just have a few questions. First, I saw someone on here who said they make their own juice. I would love to know how to do this! Right now, I use the Vapor King and use the e-liquid from www.electroniccigarettesinc.com. I tried the e-liquid from e-liquid planet, but I couldn't stand the taste. I would love to know where to get the ingredients, and how to mix my own liquid so I know I'll like the flavor.

Second, as I said, I use the Vapor King e-cig. I love it, but it keeps breaking down on me, and causing me to go back to what you call "analogs" too often, which is breaking my bank. Is there a cheaper, more stable brand out there that doesn't force me to drip and that has a stylish look?

Aryadna,

Welcome to ECF!! Keep posting here as you have a total of five posts to make before you can post elsewhere on the forum. There is a whole section dedicated to DIY with tons of recipes! I am seriously considering doing it myself to both save $$$ and just the fun of it! =D You have 3 more posts to make now and then within an hour or so the powers that be (wonderful mods here) will allow you full access to everything. HTH!

There is a DIY section of this forum which I think is about mixing your own juices. They should have links to ingredient suppliers.

But you could also just buy some juices from a place that let you mix your own flavors online. I know of this one:

Gourmet Vapor may still be having 40% off sale - code gv40. I bought some of their flavors (some are created by other users) and I mixed up a few of my own creations and bought them. if they came out good I'll make them public. One weird one I mixed is Turkish tobacco w/ a heavy dose of cocoa and a bit each of pomegranate and vanilla. I also mixed myself up what I hope will be like Captain Morgan's spiced rum in eggnog. And a spiced peach flavor.

I actually just bought a kit from One Stop DIY Shop to start making my own juice. I might try Gourmet Vapor later, but right now, the wallet is tight and I needed something cheap... and this looks like a lot of fun!

Thanks for the warm welcome, and I do hope to get my stuff soon so that I can start vaping away! I kinda feel like a traitor for buying a new e-cig too. My Vapor King just wasn't up to snuff, so I bought a KR808D-1. I can't wait to give it a try! I just wish the place had black as well as white. I would really prefer a black one, as a white one reminds me too much of the analogs. I want to get away from them totally, look, feel and taste.

I ordered the stuff today. I ordered two KR808D-1 kits from two different places (because after Christmas Shopping, I found I had the extra $43) and ordered the DIY kit and some bottles. I can't wait to start mixing my own juice!!! I'll be sure to keep a notebook of all of my recipes. I am just .... like that. I went out and bought some candy flavoring, too. I heard that you can use that to flavor your e-cigs. I hope it works!

Now, to go and watch MistressNomad's videos again, because I've never even seen a cartomizer before and am slightly afraid of them. LOL
