I've done the starter kits, moved to evod and evod2 on evod batteries then to an ipow2 vv with evod mega tank. The iPow has just gone completely.
There are so many options now and I don't know where to go from here!
Never found the iPow to last as long as I'd hope so I expect I want to go up a bit in capacity.
I understand the spinner 2 won't be much different. Am I better going for the eleaf istick and if so 20 / 30 etc?? Or are there any other suggestions?????

Hello and welcome to the forum @Dgrievo. Glad to have you here!:)

Skip the Vision Spinner, given what you have already tried. Here are some mods for you to consider.

iStick 30 - 2200mAh/30 watts
Innokin Coolfire 4 - 2000 mAh/40 watts
Innokin MVP 3.0 - 3800 mAh/30 watts
Innokin MVP Pro - 4500 mAh/60 watts
Kanger Subox Mini - 50 watts/replaceable battery 2500 mAh using a Samsung 25R

I'd go with either the MVP3/ Pro, or iStick 20 / 30 watt.

The MVP is made by Innokin, and has earned a reputation as a reliable manufacturer of mods that can stand the test of time.

Conversely, Eleaf is a relatively new company whose products have not yet stood the test of time. The iStick 50 in particular has had some alarming issues like autofiring and catching on fire. Some owners have reported that Eleaf will not support the warranty unless purchased directly through their website.

The Kanger Subox Mini is also worth considering, as it uses an external rechargeable battery as opposed to the internal non-replaceable batteries of the other recommendations. Mods that use the internal non-replaceable batteries will become a throwaway once the battery dies in a year or two. With the Subox, when the rechargeable 18650 battery dies, you just replace the battery and not the entire mod.

I agree with the above. (Susan, Baditude, suprtrkr).

I have 2 x 20w iSticks and 1 x 30w iSticks. No real issues. Innokins also tend to be good.

i.m.o. anything eGo + VV/VW is basically less reliable. If I didn't have the 30w iStick, I'd get the Coolfire 4. At some point (don't know when) I'm getting a replaceable battery mod to replace my 'old' ones, which are mostly redundant (Evic, Sid, Vamo) as they won't fire the lower resistance tanks. I sold my MVP v. 2 as it couldn't do much for me either. It's not like I vape at crazy power either. :)
Top choice at the moment is probably Sigelei Mini or Cloupor mini, but I wouldn't trust either over Innokin.

Well I must say as a newbie I'm very impressed with the response!!!

Not keen on things setting on fire and it sounds like the coolfire 4 trumps the istick!

The MVP just looks a little big to get tucked into the motorcycle leathers!

Tempted but the subox kit though!

Coolfire 4 £40 ish for just the "battery"?
Subox mini £55 + battery so £65 ish as a full kit?

Never tried the low resistance kit before. Tempted though, very tempted!

While some great suggestions have been made, my personal favorite is a Sigelei Zmax mini. Replaceable 18350 battery and fairly small for a tube mod. SIGELEI MINI ZAMX COLOR_ZMAX_vv/vw mod_SIGELEI Electronic Cigarette -
I got lucky and picked one up on Amazon for $15!!

The little eLeaf 20&30W box mods (and their clones) can be had very inexpensively. I just bought two for gifts. For $30US or less (the clones were ~$17US ea) the mods fall in to the "disposable" price range.

Just to update you helpful folk!

Wife got me an Aspire sub-ohm battery (not mod) and nautilus tank as a treat (bless her). Big difference on cloud to what I was used to and liked it, just really missed the charge on the go option and no vv or vw (although it was about right power anyway).

I was lucky enough to be offered a trade in at full purchase value by my local retailer and got the subox mod and paid the extra. Well happy!!! Got an extra battery to go with it as well.

The downside is the "in car" vaping because it kicks out so much cloud you can't see where you're going!!!

Seriously, the only criticism I have is that the holes on the atomiser are quite high so the liquid in the bottom of the tank doesn't wick through so well when it's nearly empty, not a problem though if you're keeping the same flavour. Unfortunately I have been known to change flavours quite a lot and when you top up with a different flavour with the tank not as empty as it would be if it wicked to the very bottom you get some interesting flavours but hey, who cares!!!

The subox feels quite hefty despite being quite compact. It feels like you are holding a quality bit of kit!

Wide open at 25-30 watts or smaller hole with 15 or so watts you get plenty cloud and flavour. Made the mistake of putting ice menthol in and nearly gave myself brain freeze!!!

Not wound my own coils yet but looking forward to that now!

    I would definitely reccomend!
