IPV 70W Mini 2 USB connector

Hi all,

After a couple of months of use, I discovered that the USB connector on my IPV Mini 2 detached from the board. I opened up the case and it just fell out. I have 3 batteries and a regular charger, so it is not a huge deal, but still it was nice to be able to hook it up to a USB cable to keep it charged up in my car.

So two questions:

1) Has anyone else had this happen?

2) I am thinking of buying another box mod. What I liked about the IPV Mini 2 was that I could just buy replacement batteries, unlike a fixed battery box mod. Now I am not so sure about buying another IPV device if this is common. I started thinking about a sigelei, especially with the magnetic battery door (grrr at threads on the battery cap of the IPV Mini 2).

If your not chasing clouds,
you might want to consider the Eleaf Istick 50? I have the 30 and I'm extremely satisfied - well built.

I have lots of female micro USB problems if bent pins or incorrect attachments are attempted. If you are not a brute then this might just be an off occurrence. You can try a different setup as you should have a backup anyways but the next identical mod might be brilliant!
