fasttech dropped the price again today to 43.06!

"This item ships in 20 business days"

So like..no :)

(Given the bulk buy price on this, i'm guessing i'll be seeing them pop up for $39.99 from some stateside vendor looking to undercut everybody else. Which again, will leave me kicking myself in the .... for doing a preorder more then i'll really be complaining about the delay)

Somehow my wife ended up with Both my ipv mini's. She isn't getting my Mini2 and I'll run away before giving up my SX mini M.

Only reason I am even picking up the D2 is the price and Yihi chip......... I just knew they would kill any chance of firmware upgrades at the price point. :(
I really just want a TC banger mod I can carry out of the house without concern over loss/damage and the Yihi Chip makes it a good gamble, for me.

Same here. For the price its a good deal, and I like how it looks. And yes, can take it with me, which I don't do with my sx minis.

Strongly considering cancelling my order and just getting a sigelei 75. Especially hearing all this bad stuff about p4u

I wouldn't cancel (and I was the one criticizing p4u). It has a Yihi chip. Its only $50 so if there are minor QC issues, does it matter that much? I bought one and I'm a Sigelei fan :). A year ago, those first p4u box mods were quite a bit more expensive than the new ones so of course people were upset about badly fitting doors. And autofiring mods and charge boards melting down/setting on fire are a huge concern. This little mod doesn't have any of those "bells and whistles" so I'm not concerned about bad implementation of new tech. The chip should be solid. If anything, the finish might scratch and chip easily as that seems true on all the p4u mods. Wrap it or use the silicon sleeve.

Yeah, I don't know what they were thinking orignally listing it higher than the US vendors. Being significantly cheaper is really FT has going for them. But at this price point I would rather shell out $10 more than dealing with their BS. They've gotten much worse lately and I really want this mod before Christmas. :)

You know it may be a problem when a company suggest a Rubber cover right from the get go.......... but looking at my Mini2 70w that was once all black......I understand the suggestion/implication.
The scratches just give it character. Even with a wrap, my IPV Mini 2 looks like a battle-scarred vape veteran. Of course, as a soon-to-be (if not already) crusty old-school noncom in the Army, I suppose it fits.

funny because it is for me the other way round :D Was a pain a few month ago and works so flawless for the last 20-25 orders I did. Most stuff is sent earlier than announced. etc.. either way, I would buy locally if I'd be in the US. But you know.. I am NOT going to pay 90 euro for a D2 ... not even if it is in stock.

Were all curious I'm sure, who is your source for the additional 20 day estimate ?

That would be Fasttech. With them you really need to relax and wait and hope that you get your order. I have waited over 60 days for a mod and they still want me to wait another 18 days before they will resolve it.

Ahhh SlowTech

8 days - China to Western Maryland. I think your miss-informed. People that order popular items that do not stay around long and have a hard time meeting demand, learn to wait - from any vendor.
Fasttech is no different in that respect.

I've seen newly listed product go from listed to back order in under 30 minutes and we are talking 1,000-10,000 unit orders - refilled within 7 days. No us vendor can or does meet that kind of demand. None.

It is also common practice for a lot of Vendors to buy lot stock from Fastech wiping out inventory in one fell swoop. It would be kind of difficult to say - No we will not fill your 10,000 part $230,000.00 order.

Honestly this is what it used to be for me with dozens of orders over the years. Lately though 3-4 weeks is more of a norm, which typically includes a few days restocking, up to a week in "Packaging" (this used to be 1 day tops), and 2 weeks in shipping. Granted, the shipping delays are mostly due to customs and USPS being infuriatingly slow this year, but it is what it is. Bottom line for me is, I only order from them if I don't care when it shows up.

More like you're...not "your" miss-informed, cute...the one and only time I ordered an item from SlowTech the item was claimed in stock, it took 6 weeks to receive, that feels like informed to me miss.

Maybe you should actually read all the replies in that thread

Maybe the fact you only order once, have not disclosed Product or popularity and had no experience dealing in their market have a bit with your opinion.
At one point CHINA CUSTOMS, not FASTTECH, all but brought Export to a Stop. Just one possible cause of your particular experience.
Even through that time, while people were experiencing 90-120 day delays(Customs Inspection Delays) I received 3 orders within 2 weeks.

I do not allow one off experiences skew my outlook anything in life. If I did, my first attempt at Vaping would have sent me running back to Smoking. Instead I simply tweaked my plan and products. I actually upgraded using the Same US Vendor I ordered the Junk mini -cig-a-likes from.

As always - YMMV
Different strokes for different folks.:vapor:

I'm not going to get into a debate with you about a company that thrives on stealing original designs, the product I ordered was purchased to compare it with the original Kuro Coiler that was designed by a good friend and cloned within 2 weeks of it's release.

I'm well aware that some FT orders are received in a timely manner, and many are not...your comment makes it very clear you support this company that does nothing but steal what other have worked very hard to design and bring to the market...you sound like someone that posts photos or sends FT originals to be cloned.

How so? Where discussing the IPV d2 (an original device) and shipping from fasttech, right? The to be or not to be of clones isn't part of that discussion.
