A Wait and see deal I suppose, for some. This will make my 4th YiHi chippd mod and so far, though the features are different on All of them, they have been rock solid and exactly what they were designed to do.
Can't get much better than that in my opinion.

Yeah, by default i'm going to look at the Yihi chip option before others given it's track record of quality.

Between that possibility, the no step down, and Robb's picture above i'm really tempted to leave it that way.

Locked a .4 dual Kanthal coil in Ni mode on my Aromamizer RDTA. With a fully charged Sony battery i took off my xtar about an hour ago.

Going strictly off experienced feel, it's definitely not hitting at the 40w+ it would without the step down. At 35w i almost want to say it's hitting a touch light in comparison to the exact same setup on a straight 35w setting on the Sx Mini.

Workable.

The .4 coil on this is reading .39 on my SX. Seems good imo.

I must have a busted one then. Reads .11 on the VaporShark and on the IPV D2 it's reading .09

Got mine in no time from Vapor Range. And yes it did come with a sleeve.
I hope the finish holds up because I'd rather not use the sleeve.
Otherwise it works great! I have set at 50 joules, 397F with a Smok TCT tank...no issues and hits great!

Mine seem very close - Ohm Reader and IPV mini2

TFV4 tank on it. Big tank, 24.5 mm. but no overhang. Oh Ya I should mention that the D2 can barely power it in joules mode and won't fire it in power mode because of the low resistance. I have to run this tank at 86 watts at least with the .15 quad coil.

Got mine today and threw a STM on it at .6Ω

At 11.9W it's hitting real nice but a rattlesnake must be sleeping in my RDA. It's really pretty bad but it's vaping great.
