Got my new IPV D2 mod and Kanger Sub Mini tanks today. So far I am loving both right out of the box. Right now I'm only running @ 10W because I've on'y got 24mg liquid. I tried it @ 20W and about knocked myself out of the chair with the throat hit. Using the 0.5 ohm coil that came with the tank. I'm really amazed at the clouds this thing is making even at 10W...... Decent flavor. I've got some much lower nicotine juice coming so we'll see what she can really do in a few days! So far, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase. :)

Excellent.

However... in Power mode, our D2s lack the ability to stepdown voltage bellow what the battery is providing. You're actually hitting 25 watts or more. Perfectly normal for the ST's 0.5 head. But you're gonna feel that 24mg soon. :p

Just for grins, try the workaround for higher ohm users. Put it in Temp mode (yes it's a Kanthal coil, this is a special case), select Ni and a moderately high temp... say 530 to 550.
Then you can use joules as watts (they're actually functionally the same on the D2) and lower it as much as you like, or as much as the ST head likes (it may flood a little with power that low).

:D

I'm trying it in the Joules mode. I set the temp at 550 F, Ni coil and the Joules at 20. When I hit the fire button, I get a readout that says, "No Liquid!" and it doesn't fire. Same thing if I set it to the Titanium coils.

The power mode works fine though.
