I was looking for a new mod and after talking to some friends and doing research online, I decided to order an ipv D2. Right now I have an MVP 20w and an istick 50w, and this will be my first mod that has an interchangeable battery though so I'm not sure what I need.

What are some things to consider when buying a battery?

*edit: Any good chargers you would recommend? I don't need anything fancy.

Batteries: stick with the high drain models from the A-brand manufacturers. LG, Samsung, Sony etc. The rest are usually just re-wraps at best.
Popular are the LG HG2, Samsung 25r
They will cost between 5-8$ a piece and should preferably be bought from a reputable store. (Eg not eBay)

Chargers similar story, brands like nitecore, Xtar, soshine etc. offer reasonably priced (15-35$) quality chargers.

Yeah those brands sound familiar. Thanks for the tips!

I have the IPV Mini and I rotate between two Sonys from Illumn and a purple Efest from my local B&M. The purple Efest lasts noticeably longer, if I were to buy again I'd buy 4 of those from Illumn.

I'd definitely recommend buying online from Illumn. They shipped fast, have great pricing (much better than a B&M) and give you a free case for your batts if you buy 2 or more. You might find a discount code online for them, not sure.
