Just wanted to chime in real quick. Finally made my way through the whole thread and halfway through had to go buy the mini II. Its my first mod and certainly a step up from my mvp2. I actually found a gold one and fell in love. I was a little suspicious as I hadn't seen gold other than in the 30w, but it seems like everything checks out. Now if only my batteries would charge faster.

Recently bought my first RTA, so I wanted something that it'd match up with well and this will do the trick perfectly.

Anyway, thanks for the wealth of information you've given in this thread. I'm sure I'll be back reading again once questions come up.

Both models do indeed come in gold, so there's that. I actually wanted the gold but my B&M didn't have one.

One thing to check on your mod: make sure your atty mounts flush (no gaps or crooked behavior). Some of us have a crooked 510 connector which causes the atty to not mount flush. Also, be careful with the finish -- it will peel off if not careful. I suggest a wrap. Can get them on Ebay for like $7.

Thank you! I was fortunate enough to read of others troubles in here and to be able to test my Atty out on mine before I bought it and it sits perfectly flush. Thanks for easing my mind with the authenticity of the gold, as well.

After seeing pictures, I couldn't help but start peeking at some of the available wraps... You know.. For "protection"

I have Samsung 16580 2500mAh battery and am using the USB charger. How long does it take for a dead battery to charge completely? This is my first use of the battery so I let it go dead, and want to charge it completely. Anyone know the approximate time?
I've never charged a battery in the device but if I had to guess to will probably take 3 to 5 hours. My Samsung 25r's take 3 to 4 hours on my i4 charger.

Thanks for the info. just because it's the first full recharge I want to ensure it's completely charged before using (previously this caused the maximum battery charge cycles/life, but apparently with newer batteries it's not really necessary, but it doesn't hurt to do it anyways,)

sick wraps! where did you get the blue carbon fiber one from? Vaporskinz only has the white one, I don't see the blue one.
Jwraps and what i did was ordered the blue 1 with the white for 2 tone and they sent me full wraps of both for 20.00 the 2nd tone is only 1.50 and sent a full wrap.

Yea, I could tell you used two wraps to give it the two tone design (which is badass btw). Have you gotten wraps from Vaporskinz? I want to know the quality of Jwraps vs. Vaporskinz. Jwraps has a bigger selection, but I heard Vaporskinz products are high quality while I really haven't heard much about Jwraps.
