I'd say send it back or contact asmodus to fix it under warranty.

I could have waited a few days to order, but....well, I'm pretty confident it'll be worth the 69.99 I paid for it before the price rapidly dropped.
Slated to arrive Thursday; pairing with a set of Lemo Drop (Stainless/Black) and powering it up.
I ordered mine from VapeNW and the mailman just pulled up with it.
Why nvm........? Looks like it is only the 30W as you indicated. However, I am still intrigued.
Anyone want to co-sign that Elev8 vape is a reputable vendor? I've never ordered there but that's a fantastic price.
Well, seems 1/3 of the posters in here ordered from them - Like any vendor, they have their strong and weak points.

Great, thanks. I'm still undecided on whether I really need the 70W version of this or if 30W will be good for me.
Just got mine =] love it no 510 issue nice and weighty but I love that it's not boxy I've been running the sub tank for about a month so mines stuck on 25-30 but if I'm at home I do like revisit my drippers and that's why the 70 watts is freakin sweet
70W version all day. Its not that much more, and has a far better board IMO.
The only way I would recommend the 30w version is if you prefer PWM to DC-DC. Even that is difficult because there are "better" 30W PWM devices out there for less money.

I don't know of a better 30 watt device for the same price I paid under $40.00. I had the Sigelei 30, Coupor T5, DNA 30 clone and the famous Vamo's. Over all the IPV mini 30 watt is easier to use, this has them all beat and performance is better. Now if there's a device that better for under 40.00 bucks I don't know of it.
I may pick one of these up for a backup to my sx mini. Would be perfect for out and about.
Well I ordered one from Vapenw.com two days ago and just now they're contacting me saying the black version is out of stock, ...? What kind of store cant track its inventory?
Anyway, I've asked to cancel the entire order since I don't want the silver, and I would lose out on the free shipping. Is there another site that sells the black version and doesn't have the antelope/goat thing?Sweet vapes has them in stock but says only the silver doesnt have it when selecting the color, and Myvaporstore the images have it.
Otherwise I guess I'll wait for Vapenw to have them back in stock.

I just ordered a black carbon fiber wrap from vapor skinz for my slippery silver mini 2. I'll post before and after pics once it arrives!
Quick question. Does it matter with the mini 30 watt. If the 18650 is a 20, 30 or 35 amp battery. Mt local b and m could not answer that for me and just tried to sell me another ego twist. Why must shop here? My ivp is at home in the mail box and my dumb .... forgot to get the battery's with the order.
