I love both Rosanne Rosannadana and ACDC... my very first concert was ACDC in 77! The "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" tour! LOL!

Hard to not read that to a Rosanne voice!

It was intended to be read in that voice.

My first time for them was backing up Aerosmith, sometime in the same general area. I later saw them again, with Nugent as the backup.

Twas a somewhat loud night, from what I recall. I think my ears might still be ringing, in fact. ;)

Saw Nugent too! Was that the Wango Tango tour with AC/DC??? I've seen AC/DC live probably more than any other band... but my concert going years are a lifetime behind me!

Awwwwww, JEEZ! You remember which ALBUM it was? If it wasn't for the dang loin cloth, I'd be hard pressed to remember it was Nugent.

And if not for the noise, I'd probably have forgotten who he was backing up that time. AC/DC, Electric Light Orchestra, The Electric Company, Sesame Street... one of 'dose. ;)

It was after Free for All. Which was that? Wango Tango? I'm guessing... '78 or '79. And even doing just THAT gave me a headache.

Leave on PWM - .5 would default to 28watts+ in DC-DC with your coil

Since I read this I rebuilt and am running twisted 28 gauge at .6 ohms and switched to dc dc. Starting at 10 watts working my way up, now at 23 watts so far and NO BURNY ick yet... the flavor is yummy, the cloud is very decent and nic delivery is making me queezy... I am still gonna keep bumping the watts, after a bit just to see how it does. If I keep vaping to test I'll probably regret it. I hate throwing up, lol... I do notice a much more consistent and warmer (rich and very moist) vape in dc dc mode. Where as in pwm I'd get a very warm first 2 seconds and then drop down to a much cooler vape. And I am diggin' the vape now. Very much. I still do not understand why before it was giving me burnt vape at even lower wattage but am going to watch the video and keep trying til I get it. I am glad I decided to give it another shot. I want the v2 70watt but not having pwm was stopping me. Maybe it isn't out of the question after all...

I am running my mini at 25 watts with a 0.5ohm build in DC mode, I did switch it to PWM to see any difference, and the voltage output is 0.2 less when in PWM mode, wouldn't think would notice a 0.2volt difference, but sure didn't seem to be hitting as hard, so will leave it in the DC mode from now on.

That(at first) warm feeling is the BOOST of voltage in the first .8 seconds. Gets the coil going. In PWM it is quickly overcome by the pulsing effect.

Also, in DC-DC with a .5ohm coil any setting up to about 25w to 30w (battery level dependent) should be practically unchanged.

    Woke up this morning and read a little here and BY George I think I have got it;

You really have to adjust for each tank. Put tank on. Put it to wattage you enjoy. Look at screen. If Volts are less than 3.7 when vaping at the Watts that is GOOD FOR YOU than you use PWM. If Watts are higher than 3.7 you switch it to DCDC.????
Please tell me I am right?
This is why someone said to me (when I first posted about hot hits) "you neglected to set your IPV for the tank you are using"

And the main gripe would be?

(Even though I never said that the lack of a screen was the main gripe. :p)

    The rigid power setting options.

Yes you have it correct................or just leave set to PWM and let the mini auto switch.:)

Well...I had it on PWM when I got the hot/burnt hits. (Taifun 1.7 coil at 11 Watts)

I do not think it adjusted itself correctly

Do you normally vape at 11 watts DC-DC?
Still sounds like a possible build issue.
    Possibly a 510 connection issue.

If it fires hot, immediately look at the screen to confirm ohms reading. May be jumping and causing mis-calculation.<Yes, I have an Orchid tank that causes this>

Your screen Data should clue you in:
    Watts set
    Ohms reading
    Voltage setting

I will be watching that screen and I guess now I do believe it might have been my build. Thanks Crxess, Darryl, Kat and anyone else that contributed

I have to send my mini in for service/replacement. The site info I had isn't working. Can someone point me in the right direction? I have a warranty card but all info on it is blank. Will I need info from the vendor as well? I ordered it 12/31/14 so I assume I am still covered. Help please. I've only ever had to deal directly with the vendor, this is all new to me.

Thank you. The site states it needs an original receipt... I am not home and unsure if I still have the invoice that came with my order, is that what they're referring to? Ugh, so stressful... Maybe I'll contact the vendor for a duplicate... Crossing my fingers I didn't toss it :-/

Most online vendors will allow you to print your receipt or invoice.
