Package Arrived.
First impressions:
Well packaged and protected for shipment. Retail packaging looks good and is Shrink Sealed, a plus. Unpacked Both units and installed a Samsung R25 in the first.
A few minutes of orientation. Feeling out the up down buttons and how they react, what they do.
Interesting that if you bump the up the unit jumps to the next memory setting. This can be aggravating until becoming used to the units quirk.
Bumping the down lights the screen and prepares for a reduction of power.(normal function) Afterward, bumping the up button will increase power.
I placed my Orchid V3 on the unit first. Fit is perfect and with the Orchid dual coiled to .6ohm a 30watt setting delivered a very acceptable vape. Regulation means this will support the Orchid better through battery life than the 18350 Stingray I normally run.
Next up, Kayfun Nano with 1.0ohm coil and Hypno flavor(DIY). Set the mini to 15watts(DC-DC) and get an Excellent warm vape. Bumped to 18watts and OMG Extremely nice vape with Great Flavor.........unfortunately a bit to warm for me. Hopefully I will adapt over time - lol.
Time to Test IPV Mini #2:
What to try out first..............
Aha! Magma with .65ohm dual coil/Rayon wick and Marshmallow Sugar Cookie(DIY). OH Yea!

*Crap another minor flaw*
Magma 510 pin is longer than most - even the clones followed suit(Doh!) tightened down as tight as it will go, without getting stupid, the Magma sits about 1mm off the deck. Not a Bad gap, but a gap none the less and a reduction in atomizer support. Fortunately the 510 threading in the IPV feels solid and is providing a good tight feel holding the Magma in place(no wobble)
<Someone really needs to sell 22mm Spacers in SS,Brass,Copper with 510 center punch out. There is a market!>
Back on track.
Set #2 mini to 30 Watts, Magma filled and wide open AFC. Wow...............Sold!!!!! Good Flavor, Great Vapor. (remember these are subjective - YMMV)
enjoyed a few vapes, topped off and adjusted Magma to 2nd AFC opening. Reset Mini to 25 watts. Once again Vapor production is very good almost the same as before. Flavor is nicely boosted and vapor has a thick creamy feel.
Final notes on initial exposure:
Black is not Black - more of a very dark gunmetal, but very nice looking.
Mod is stout and has a solid but not overly heavy feel.
Ergonomically designed to have a nice hand feel and easy to fire.
Buttons do not lock so pocket carry may change settings - test fire and read before vaping.
No problem down converting power that I see.
Even with its limited 30w this is a good solid feeling device. Nothing like some of the toss away units priced to look like a bargain.
Function seems to be excellent with no delay and instant full power delivery.
I'll beat these (2) down over the next few days and see how performance holds up. If anything is exposed I will post back for all to be aware of. As of initial testing I could only say Yes if someone asked - Is it worth the money.
My eldest son is going to be upset. He was going to take the second unit off my hands since I accidentally ordered two.
Nope, No Way, NOT HAPPENING!!!!
