Well, it's a Godsent that Chinese companies like 'YiHi' are not in the business of making complex electronic aircraft navigation systems that people depend there life on to be accurate and reliable all the time.

oh well ....

There are three reasons why I don't fly on Airbus Jets...
1. Their redundant systems are nowhere near as extensive as the ones used on Boeing aircraft.
2. Turn on the news, ANOTHER Airbus jet has gone missing. It was going to china just like the last one that disappeared.
3. 25% of all Airbus production is made in China. .

I don't think I would want a heart pacemaker that was built by any of these Chinese electronic companies surgically installed in my chest either.

Hehe. The "Harbor Freight" of medical devices. Scary thought.

.....and on what Planet are those cell phones. Around here replacement Warranty sales are through the roof due to failures. My kids alone go through 8-10 a year and they are adults.

That's probably because they are careless and lack discipline. I say that because the only friend I have who constantly breaks/looses/damages her phone fits into both those categories. The last time I broke my own cell phone was probably 14 years ago in a bar fight.

Listen, folks. This is a $50 mod. Its not a high end mod by any stretch of the imagination. It doesn't have a perfect chip, but its significantly more accurate than the istick's. And has a real 510, also unlike the istick.

Try a Yihi sx350 or sx330 or sx300 chip and still tell me they are garbage. I love all 3 of those chips, more than the Evolve chips.

I can't believe how many people are complaining about a $50 mod! A VF will cost you $300. A Hana $250. A VS or SX Mini $190. A Zero $1000 and you'll wait 2.5 years to get it.

I gotta say it again .... This is really a very nice VW battery!

And the finish on the silver one of mine is flawless ... It don't appear to be a silver paint, so I don't think it will wear off like some of the folks here have experienced with the black colored ones.

Anyway, time will tell, but this mod don't seem to have any faults at all ... and a really nice vape!

Edit: Comes packaged very nice too with some kind of a small certificate of QC-Pass card ...

Just got mine about an hour ago. Hasn't left my hand. :vapor:. The Finish appears to be anodized.

I dont have these other chips, but have two Vaporsharks and one more on the way. The IPV Mini doesnt even compare, but as you said its $50.

Can you shed more light on what makes the other Yihi chips you mention better than Evolv? Things like Temp Control are unique to Evolv, and I would definitely like to learn more about the unique features of Yihi.

They are very accurate, have no delay to fire, haven't had anywhere near the glitches of the DNA40s, more power for running RDAs or dual/tri coil RTAs. The sx350 is fully customizable with 3 power delivery settings.

I should concede I can't use tp due to a severe nickel allergy. That does color my perception somewhat on the chips.

Yes, my point is, its not a VS :). If I had paid $190 for the ipv mini, I would be upset. For $50 I'm more than happy with its performance. Its 0.5W overpowered and reading the resistance 0.1 ohm low. Not bad for what is Yihi's cheapest chip. I bought it for running around with and doing yard and barn work. For those things, I'm more than pleased.

If 2 Chips give me Everything that I want out of a Chip, then Isn't the one that is Less Expensive Better? To Me that is.

The Evolv or Evolv-ed Based seemed to work Fine. But I Really Didn't like the One Press to Wake Up the chip design.

Received mine today, L0836 here. My knurling doesn't appear overtly sharp, but then that's just me.So far I've just put it down long enough to eat lunch :vapor:

It's a Nice APV.

I was surprised by it's Weight when I first got it. Pleasantly Surprised that is. Because I like an APV that Doesn't want to fall over when I set it down on the Desk or the Nightstand.

BTW - Have you tried both PWM and DC modes much. Which do you like Better?

I'm using it with a Nautilus mini, 1.8 ohm coil which is rated 3.3-6.0 v. I'm vaping 13.9w, 5.0v. I checked both settings and THINK :?: I prefer PWM. Really too soon to tell yet. I think that DC mode is geared more towards sub-ohm equipment. What I really need is it to last ALL day. I have noticed that the juice consumption has increased. :vapor: I also compared it to my MVP 2.0 and noticed that it is only about 1/8" thicker on the short side. All in all, I'm real pleased with it.

Had a juice flood (bad coil). Mainly went into battery compartment which I guess is the benefit of having the 510 over the battery rather than the electronics though this does make it taller. Anyway, it survived, but wanted everyone to know it is not juice-proof. Here's pic of it opened after cleaning ...

I with you. I'm leaning towards PWM myself.

You folks might want to learn how to post bigger photos ....

Is everyone posting these small type photos I keep seeing here from a cellphone, or something like that?
