Received my ipv mini today that I ordered on 14th December (new record for USPS but I guess I should expect that around Christmas). Didn't even really look at the 510 just screwed on a lemo and it was working, thought I would try an Atlantis and see what it read the coil as and there was some crackling, luckily I realised some sort of short was happening and pulled the battery quickly. Had a look at the 510 and it has been pushed back into the device, appears that it was only being held in place by glue. I don't think I want another one, have emailed elev8 stating I would like a refund, the sad thing is whatever they choose to do is probably going to take ages but we'll see how they handle it.
I just got mine yesterday, but my version has "W0620" printed on the bottom...![]()
Those are the production batch numbers.
Mine was from Vaporrange. I don't remember what number was on the first one I returned, but the one I got back is silver with W0620 on it.
I haven't been able to keep up with the thread but have read most pages and haven't seen anything mentioned about it so here goes...
I've had my mini a few weeks and have been experimenting with dc-dc and pwm the last few days. A few minutes ago and I could hear a something coming from within the mod when in PWM mode.
Sounds like a buzzing almost. Anyone else get this??? Just use dc-dc?
What is your display on time? Just got the cloupor mini yesterday and it stays lit up for 2 mins [emoji15]I do not like how the display dims and then stays on for what seems like forever, but functionally I'm happy so far.
