Darryl Licht, I was never one for Dark wood but that turned out Nice! Hope yours last longer than Major911's did.(unit failed)

Major911, interesting Skin....................... I still thought the first on was SWEET!!!

Afraid mine are going to have to go naked for a while. I'm kind of curious how long it will take to completely rub through the Original Paint.

I may or may not see it in a few days.

Yeah I liked that mahogany skin cause it was textured but they were sold out of that one. The one I got with the matte finish is nice and grippy. Definitely better than the naked silver. It also served to keep that face plate over the screen nice and secure.

Went to see which one I choose, and realized I got mine from jwraps  But sure the install will still be the same, not sure how to describe, so just post a pic of it instead :)

I'm looking forward to seeing how that wrap looks once it's on the device. Please update us with photos once it's on! :toast:

Question here... I know when you fire the ipv mini the battery symbol goes down, but when I fire it the symbol goes up and down up and down... Is that normal?

It's merely showing the voltage drop when it fires, and yes you will see the up/down when your on PWM, no up/down when in DC-DC mode!

My mini did turn today, it is black not gun metal like I had hoped, but my wrap did ship today, so it will get wrapped next week anyway.
So far I am happy with it, buttons have no rattle, build quality is good, put my Aqua V2 on it and sits flush, Aqua has a 0.40ohm coil in it and is firing just fine at 25watts.

In IPV - Black is Beautiful..........even more so with 70 watts to use at your leisure!. :D

LOL - IPV mini 2 also has a Lock feature - wold have been nice if they were locking the memory setting instead of the whole mod.

Wow, 50w can trash a Tank wick in a heart beat. :(

Yep, I've trashed two Atlantis coils doing that, 50-60w, it didn't take long either, maybe 1-2 seconds.

Yeah, I agree, that black is a beaut!

I got to fondle and grope a mini v.2 today at my local shop, they took the cheap rattle out of the buttons! Nice!

I'm so bummed that my 2 week old iPV mini is already outclassed by a newer more powerful model. Perhaps I'll sell my v.1 on Fleabay and upgrade to the v.2... Hmmmm...

Knowing how long (little) an Atlantis coils lasts in my 30W, I don't doubt that they're super easy to toast at higher wattage!

Would you be able to confirm the pass through functionality?

sorry if this question is in the 1300+ posts, I just got my ipv mini and need to charge my battery..Do you leave the mini on and plug it in to charge? or turn it off and plug it in?

Nothing in stone information. Logic would say lean toward safety. If you are not vaping pass through, just turn it off.

Disclaimer: I do not USB charge :)

I will say that while the USB charging function is there, it doesn't get a proper charge on your batts. I was recharging via USB 2-3 times per day, now that I have a quality charger and a spare batt, I get nearly a full day of vaping at 20W avg.

So, in a pinch a USB will top you off fine, but I wouldn't use it as my sole way to charge.
