You are some what correct, if you look into the specs on all Pioneer4You vs comparable Yihi mods they are different. Yihi always has a better chip, more functions, and made from higher quality material used to build the device. The Yihi model actually has 3 power mods (instead of 2) it also is able to fire lower the design is slightly different and the material is going to be higher quality metals without the plastic. Not saying by any means that the ipv3 mini is not good quality (in fact I own multiple Pioneer4You devices and not one Yihi SX) but the reason it is more is because it is a better quality device and has more features and a better chip. Personally if I’m going to spend the money of a YiHi SX device I would go for a dna chip. Just my personal opinion, mainly because I am somenone that runs temp control on a lot of rta, rda, and rdta. The temp control of a dna device is the best out there it is 97% accurate. But Yihi SX makes a high quality product and so does Pioneer4you.
Yea I did notice the chip difference between the two. Has anyone ever did a side by side comparison of the chips in any of the ipv vs SX related mods? Just curious if the tc works as good or if worse how much. Obviously the SX Yihi chip has more features and options but it would be an interesting study.

Oh wow awesome, what rda are you using? And the important question, how is it performing? Oh and what is the resistance of your rebuild?
The rda is origen mini 16mm and performing well without issue.I am using ss316l 0.4mm on 2mm core and 6 rounds this is exactly 0.3ohm...i also tried ss316l 0.25 in the same core (1 ohm) and it work fine. ....
you must achieve exactly the value of resistance if you want it to work properly...

Thank you for the information and figuring out how to make it work.

Yiihaaa got it on and firing. So simple to do really. I'll take some photos of what I did and post it later. First I want to try it out and see if it works well enough...:D

First off a huge thank you to @BABIS1098 for setting off the idea :thumb:
So here's my little process of fitting the Origen to the IPV.
I don't have access to a lathe anymore so I decided to give it a try without it and it turned out to be soooo easy...I actually had a chuckle at myself afterwards.
All I used was a electric drill, a hacksaw and sheets of different grades sandpaper to smooth things off.
I clamped the IPV ADA by the thread side in the drill and sawed it off to get the flange off the ADA. I then gripped the ADA flange by the thread side and smoothed it off on the sandpaper sheets.

Same with the Origen. Grip it by the 510 thread in the drill and saw it off while spinning the drill.

Sand the bottom of the threadless RDA on the sandpaper to smooth.
Now the ADA flange can be screwed into the RDA. A little bit needs to be taken off the head of the Origen squonk pin so it can fit into the little black isolating ring. Do that by clamping the squonk pin in the drill and feather it with sandpaper or a handfile

Now its easy to just fit the flange to the RDA

I built a. 2mm 0.3ohm SS coil and it vapes beautifully. Takes this IPV to a whole new level for sure. Don't know why but the temp control don't work as well as in the standard ADA. It does cut back the power but only after I get the dry hit. Don't bother me much though, as i'm still to much on a high for actually getting it working.
