Hey guys. Picked up my first box mod the other day (Veteran's day deal) for a REALLY good price. Been using it ever since and I really am liking it. It is currently loaded with a Sony VTC5, and I am using Tobh and Zenith RDA's. Here is my question: Where am I going to find the best performance with a 50w mod build wise? I am so used to sub-ohming, and I am still sub-ohming on the IPV2. Currently vaping .3 ohm dual vertical coils. Firing these at 40-50w doesn't hit as hard as my mechanical mods, and I am wondering why. Is there a sweet spot for regulated mods? Would I be better off wrapping coils higher than 1 ohm (or even higher than .3)? From some ohm's law calculator research, 50w at .3 ohms has significantly less voltage than 50w at 1 ohm - Is the upped voltage combined with the wattage going to give me a more powerful hit? I know these are subjective questions, but just seeking some advise. Thanks!
