I heard that too. Just got a new one in the mail yesterday. If you hear a confirmation on it first, post a thread.
Nothing as of today. I don't understand what an update would do to enhance the mod either. Would it allow for higher wattage? Maybe lower ohm builds? Mine works great.
It's supposed to allow for higher wattage and titanium builds.
yaa this is what I've heard too! i just can't seem to find a release date for it, sorry for the late response btw haven't been on ecf recently
I've heard some issues with it. Some folks are saying their mod quits working after the update. I'm waiting to see how it pans out.
so u just plug ur ipv4 into you computer then what? sorry I've never done a firmware update before
you need the software to install the drivers and perform the update.
I plugged my Ipv4 into my computer and it doesn't do anything. It doesn't recognize it and I can't do the update. Oh well, I like it fine the way it is, and I use titanium wire in the nickel mode...I just use a much lower temp and it works fine.
after you have installed the setup file, take your batteries out, plug it into your computer you can then install the drivers once that is complete you can then upgrade.
see my post with the setup file link in order to install the correct drivers onto your computer so it will recognize the device.
ok i downlaoded that I'm just confused how to get the software onto my device i have it plugged into my computer but idk what to do form there
