Naw, it'll be a Yihi doing the firmware/hardware for it. Guess they need to have TC available in the SX330 for their Chinese customers or risk losing them to some other Chinese board maker that will happily supply temp control boards, and they won't sell them the SX350 series, or at least they wouldn't in the past.

Stay tuned for a Sigelei temp control box soon too, since they're owned by the same parent company as Pioneer4You.

Fictitious, now I see that you have an interest in this one.

lol you know me. The ipv3 build has been good so far and no complaints with my experience with the yihi chips, combine that with an affordable temp protection and it could be a winner. I have a dna 40 VS but I am waiting on wire so I don't even know if it has screen glitches yet, and the SX350J mods were something I was waiting to see the reception of, but this chip/mod makes for an affordable option, so I will have to watch it. I almost impulsively bought one last night but I can be patient considering I was not even considering it before. I think I can, I think I can. lol

What is your go to mod these days HD?

EDIT: Yeah just going to watch it after its release. Hate paying to be a beta tester

Istick 50 watt. Been using it since I got it a week and a half ago. Really like it and charge will last me a couple of days. Been eyeing a vapor flask clone. Want to try this temperature control that is starting to get popular. Just want to make sure I get the right mod. Kind of following the reviews and threads on them right now.

The 50w istick is suppose to be a good one, and two days off a charge is good.

Yeah China seems to be invading the TC market and I have heard of a couple brands of TC clone Flasks that some ppl think are great. Best bet is to do like you are doing and be selective. Affordable TC is on the horizon though and maybe by August the TC isticks will hit the market. lol

I will have ni-200 here in a few days and will get a better idea if the TC is even something that I really like.

Let me know how it goes. I thought about ordering some ni200, because I know a TP mod is in my near future.

I'll do it. Mail has been weird lately due to the weather. I bought some pre made heads and some 28 and 30 gauge ni-200 so I should know shortly if I like it. I am thinking TC is going to be more and more common in regulated devices this year.

On the flip side of that though I have really been liking the shark in regular fashion as my on the go mod.

That's another reason I like the idea of a good TP device. You can use it with standard kanthal or nickel coil. Seems like a win, win situation to me.

Apparently the ipv4 is being flashed before being sent out. This means temp control out of the box. I jumped into a group buy for this, simply because most of my devices are single battery units.
I would need positive proof off this before I order. I was one of those who got caught up with a pre-order in the IPV3. Said it would have touch sensor. Did it? No. Said out would have USB charging. Did it? No. Unfortunately, I had already paid on a non refundable pre-order before they decided to change the features. I will admit, it is a good unit for what it ultimately came as.

I ran across a group buy that has it offered for 62 and change pre-ordered -- just couldnt pass that up

with the ability to upgrade the firmware and the fact that they have proven that they actually release new firmware for devices i think its a safe bet.

its cheaper than the DNA40 +shipping that I ordered the other day so even if there are case problems its still a win
