ipv4 temp control

I've been trying to use the temp control and the ohms do no show up plus when i try the dry cotton trick it burns the cotton plus when I'm hitting it the coil starts turn turn black like its not suppose to and i get dry hits, please help me out this is the best feature of my product and its not working correctly, ad advice is much appreciated, happy vaping crew

Are you using nickel wire coils otherwise temperature control will not work.

ha probably should been a stupid question,,, but i didn't wow i feel dumb now, how do you do that? just top and bottom wattage buttons?

Ha! Well l'm glad I asked then.

I don't own an IPV 4 but based on a video of it that I watched recently, you need to hold the +/- buttons down after you've attached your atty for it to read and lock in the resistance. Give it a shot and let us know if it works.

ETA: replied a little to late. Glad you got everything sorted, OP.

And make sure that your coil is at room temperature when you set the resistance. The resistance will change with temperature so if you set the temp when the coil is warm, it will be different than when the coil is at room temp.

I really in joy my ipv4 I want to go over some things that I found to be important and I learned the hard way way in j / temperature mode only okay first of all it's very important to set the mod before you start to use it by hitting plus minus plus button at the same time equally important is dont even bother wasteing your time if your coils reading. 16 or above coil needs to be reading. 0 5 to.11 it's mind boggling to work perfect and they do work perfect here is one of rba in kanger first thing in the morning after being in AC o.o4 OK it will fire twice and then read short reset Good to go all day it will be .o54 when I lock it nothing wrong with the mod. its just that sensitive my experience
