Going from using rda's at about 45 watts with .4 ohm kanthal to the world of TC. I plan on a IPV4s with a uwell crown (with rba deck). I plan on trying both Ni200 and TI wire. Eciggity is the only vendor that I've found that has all this in stock (except Ti wire). I've tried to do my homework but thought I'd asked for input here before "pulling the trigger". Any input or suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks Jim

There are a number of popular sizes for both wire types.

Most of my tanks are setup with Ni200. 8-12 wraps of 28-32AWG on 2.5mm mandrel and I'm all set. I don't think I've ever rewicked a Ni200 coil -usually pull the whole thing and start over with fresh wire and wick. If you hand wrap it the springyness can give you perfectly spaced coils.

With the right AWG of Ti1 wire you can actually wind TC coils over 1ohm! Ti1 I've heard many are using 24 or 26AWG. I've used both as well as 28AWG. I use a coiler and make contact coils with Ti1. I currently have two tanks setup with 24AWG Ti1. I'm hoping that the stiffness+thickness will allow rewicking+cleaning when the time comes.

The IPV4S is a good mod, I'm sure you'll love your setup.
