Bought it off some one and have no idea how to charge it I see usb port but don't see any other way to charge it????.

Charge batteries by removing them and using an appropriate charger.
One of the 'upgrades' the 4s has over the 4 was removing the internal charger, the usb port is for firmware upgrades only on the 4s model.
