Ok..thy. any views on the vaporshark dna200..internal battery..supposed to have 10w hours. What does that mean really? I can get one in box from reputable source for 150.and a spare 900mah battery. .
It means it's 900mah 3s 11.1v Lipo. What hours is a better unit of measuring batteries of different voltages. But comparatively a 3000Mah 18650 is 11.1Whr battery. Cept the 900mah Lipo can go up to 200w and the 18650 tops out at ~75w.

60w, if one wants to be within the cdr of the battery (using one LG hg2, that is).

Anybody have any luck getting a newer working version by sending back to Pioneer 4 You or the site you purchased from?

I contacted WNY vapes. I'll let you know what they say.

Well, they chose to just ignore me...

So I'll scratch that vendor off the list of those I use. Disappointing too, I had had good experiences with them.

I should be getting a V3 ipv 6x as a replacement for my V1 IPV 6x on Wednesday or Thursday.

Obviously it will not have the ability to update the FW, but if the reverse battery protection, the button lock, and the TCR function are all fixed, I will be happy. I will report back.

Dang! Was hoping that had been fixed. I was really wanting a IPV6 and see it is now available from one of my vendors, but not comfortable with the lack of protection. Sure, one pays close attention. But mistakes can happen and the consequences are just too high for this mistake.

According to the DJlsb vapes video the v2 has reverse battery protection and locking, and the v3 has all that plus functional tcr.

I don't have the mod nor do I have any plans to get one. Why would I? It's a flawed mod. Daniel tested them though, and he's probably the most thorough and qualified reviewer. And apparently the mod (first firmware version) doesn't short with the batteries installed wrong, it autofires at full wattage.

Well my IPV 6X has finally arrived. It is version 1.3 :/

Bummer. The TCR is reported not to function in v1.3 and v1.5 is the fully functional version. Sadly my vendor won't open the box and check the firmware version before they ship a replacement to me but I've already warned them that anything less than v1.5 will get shipped back to them.

Yeah, it's a bummer indeed. I bought it through SlowTech (pre-ordered in July, shipped out late Sept, ended up at somebody else's address (thank you SlowTech) and then finally took almost another 2 weeks for it to be re-routed to the right address). I'm debating whether to make a fuss or not, but you may be able to guess how unwilling I am due to the aforementioned debacle.

The mod cost me USD$35, i.e., AUD$46. At least its battery door, reverse polarity and locking features are working. And more importantly, at least it isn't as bad as when I spent USD$107, AUD$139, on the Sigelei 213/155.

In the meantime I'll console myself with my new Minikin V2 :)
