Ipvd2 died on me (1.5 month usage)

Was rebuilding my goblin mini yesterday night and wanted to pulse my coil so I tried to on my d2 but it didn't turn on. And I was like

Yesteday time line:

Vape around 11am
Resistance constant, no leak everything was fine

Vaped around 2pm?
Resistance start to change, minor leak (did not go into 510 connector) , airflow seems blocked by juice (flooding) no smoke coming out of mod

5pm
Went to test again, resistance keep on changing so I off, separated the atty and mod and keep in my bag

9pm
Finished recoiling my goblin mini. At first I thought the change in resistance was due to loose post screw but before I recoil, I did check my post screw. Everything was fine and dandy on the old coil. So fine, maybe the coil old liao, (2weeks never change)

But didn't even manage to pulse my coil cause the d2 won't turn on.

Anybody can advise? If not I will just upgrade to sxmini ml

EDIT:
I haven't opened up the cover for the chip yet to verify the damage. Will do it on the weekend when I get a hex screwdriver!

Yeah sia, now I dunno user error or error with mod. Damn disheartening. Best part was I got ripped off for d2 also

If I can't fix whatever is wrong, I will order a evolve dna40 chip to replace the YIHI chip in the d2. I love the d2 firm factor!

Seems like a seepage of juice into the electronics, boss. My condolences..you'd probably need to replace the whole mod.

From the sounds of it... Sounds like your 510 shorted out your board somehow... Maybe condensation, maybe the 510 wiring came loose or wore out somehow causing the short

To be honest, I think the sig75tc is too overhyped! For the same form factor, I'll probably get an epetite from lost vape!

It is not overhyped lah. Anyway the epitite looks good too. I'm not sure if it's the rdna 40 though. Would most probably cost a bomb though.

I probably have 20 sigelei's, never a failure, leaked a copious amount of juice on/ in them more times than I'd like to admit , the 40$ you'll spend on the tc 75w will be the best money you could invest in a mod hands down

If it's using rDNA 40 chip then i guess it might be worth it. It is a nice looking mod. Would get one myself just for the looks. I can't vouch for it's build quality though cos i never owned one. But if i ever had to just own one mod EVER, i'd choose the Sigelei (over my Vaporflask 60w, Hana v3, eleaf 20, Smok xcube ii, Kbox 40).

Just yesterday i dropped the mod from my table to the floor (hazards of living with cats). Mod was in the silicone sleeve. Just a minor baluku on the door of the mod. Everything else is fine and buttons still firm and no rattle. Maybe i should check my floor for cracks. hehe.

Am thinking of getting the evic mini though. Really like the green colour. Adds something different to my collection.

Haha alright so I have decided to get a used vt40. But I'll still do my best to revive my d2. If anything else, the d2 could be my casing for my future diy project!
