Someone tell me this stuff needs to steep or I'm throwing it out!

Mixed 2 5ml bottles at 5 &10% last night, vibrated for 10 mins, hot water bath. The stuff tasted like burning rubber and stung the hell out of my nose. Still trying to get rid of the burning rubber taste/smell from last night.

Tested on an ego w/510 dripping atomizer, NEW, both times. I used a separate ati for each because I thought there had to be something wrong with the first one. NOPE! It was the juice.

Left it uncapped over night, not about to try it again any time soon. Out of 20 flavors, this was the one I hoped would be great. Unless it gets better with time, there is no way to salvage this one.

Anyone used the TFA Irish Cream? Have any ideas?

My notes on TFA Irish Cream aren't very positive. I thought it tasted more like Amaretto, and not a good one at that. I did not get any horrible rubber taste from it, just not an accurate one. I mixed at 5, 10, and 15% and decided 15 was better. I didn't note any improvement after it sat for a month. The rubber smell you describe - can you try at a lower voltage?

I also have FlavourArt Irish Cream, which I note as "much better." I mix it at 5%. It's still not a favorite of mine, but it tastes more accurate to me and finds its way into my coffee mixes now and then.

I have yet to try a liquor-flavor that I thought was really fabulous. Always looking, though!

(clarify: TFA was bad at 5, 10, and 15%, but least-bad at 15%. FlavourArt I mixed at 5% and it beats TFA.)

Wish I had known, I wouldn't have bothered. Except that Bailey's is one of my favorite things and I thought even if it resembled it, I'd be happy.

So one of you think it's so-so at 1% and the other uses 15%......big window there!

The ego batt is preset at what 3.4volts I think, not a VV, can't adjust it. I just realized that I didn't use my ego, I used my passthrough and have no idea what volt it pulls, it has no battery, just a direct passthrough. It's what I used for other testing too. Maybe I should try it on my ego. Now I'm having doubts, was it the passthough or the ego? Either way, the ati's went directly into vodka for cleaning!

I can't find one yet that mimics Bailey's. Capella's IC isn't too bad, I use it for an additive in one semi-ADV recipe. Still not Bailey's, more of a Caroline's or Murphy's or whatever off brand that will never be Bailey's to a Bailey's head. lol There are a few IC flavorings that taste like butter. :p I have to look them up later and let you know.

Thank you for that. I can't imagine even adding this TO anything. That 'burnt rubber' taste/smell was VILE!
