Iron increases with nicotine?

I read on a website that nicotine cessation supliments increases iron consentrations in the liver, heart and kidneys.
This can lead to liver cancer or cardiac arrest.
Another website says nicotine decreases iron absorption. Confussed now as I already have too much iron.

Heamachromatosis is a big problem in the northern European countries. Many people there have a corrupted gene that promotes iron build up in the liver, kidneys and heart. The body does not excrete iron but builds up in the organs leading to cirrhosis of the liver and death. I have been diagnosed with this gene and hence my concern.
This does not concern women as they menstruate and this blood letting gets the iron out of the system. Us men build it up.
