You won't catch me with an account to PayPal...

You are doing yourself and the vendors a dis-service by NOT buying from them on the fact they don't take PayPal.

PayPal is the PROBLEM, not the Vendors.

You are in fact supporting the Anti-ecig ANTZ by continuing to use PayPal.

That's the way I see it.

Boycott PayPal because they ban people for buying vaping stuff using their service.

The way I see it, PayPal can go the way of AOL and disappear.

If you are worried about card fraud, go get a Gift card,, every vendor accepts Visa Gift Cards.
I only use paypal for co-ops >.>. Amazon for everything else! :D

More Irony: I won a bottle of ejuice on FB last week and the person offering it told me to give them my paypal so they could get it to me! I didn't have a PayPal, so I had to create an account.

I created my paypal account to purchase items from China to start a B&M. I used the word vape in my business name I created for my paypal business account. I think it is funny.

Well, I have both PP and Pop. I can tell you venders won't be looking to hard at PopMoney until they step up and do instant transfer. 48hrs is so yesterday in the electronic banking industry.
Popmoney also has written restrictions on Tobacco purchases but has so far not enforced their regulations.(so far) Likely do to not being under the same pressures a PP as Popmoney is just moving into this industry.

I totally understand those that have no need for Paypal.
For many, myself included, PP has been a way to shop the best prices and save Thousands every year on purchases while shopping safer online. :)

What I would rather see is PP realize their losses and take a stand to support legitimate business.
I'd also like to see people accept responsibility for their own actions and stop suing, blaming everyone else for their lot in life. We are fast becoming a Nation of lawyers and Idiots.

I agree, it's the draw of easy money that makes people sue. All those DUH warnings on things are put there because someone did that and probably sued the company.

I have a hard time believing that a boycott from some random group amounts to a greater loss in revenue than what would be realized if paypal was a fully accepted form of payment for USA ecig purchases?

I don't have a problem with others using PayPal, I just chose to not use them. It's a personal choice. I didn't mean to sound like we should all stop using them, though it would be kind of nice ;)

All I did was see a thread regarding PayPal and ecigs and voiced my personal feelings. No harm, no foul. I'm not trying to get people to stop using them, but if it makes them aware... I don't know where I'm going with this, so I'll shut up now and stop rambling.

Was it a particular group that threatened to boycott PayPal or the ANTZ brigade?

I've never bought any e-cig related stuff online without PayPal, in fact if a site here doesn't list PayPal as a payment option then I won't buy. There's a lot of liquids from US vendors that I'd really like to try but I haven't, especially after reading all the stories on here about card fraud.

It was the very radical (and lying) group ASH (US). What is odd, is the ASH group in the UK has actually come out in favor of vaping.

Some US suppliers get around the Paypay restriction by having a money order option for payment that they then turn into a paypal option by sending you an email. You should check with your supplier of choice to see if they have this option.

Another safe payment option, if you have a citi card is their "virtual number" credit card number. There is no charge or minimum for this service. It's a one use number that you create attached to your regular credit card number.

Used PayPal for years, set up an account for Ebay and when I sold a few items on Ebay PayPal was a valuable asset. I do wish that I could use PayPal for ecig purchases from U.S. vendors, but that is not the case. Seems some people really don't care about anything other than enforcing their will on others.
