Good Sunday everyone, I've been using juice from Halo , Menthol Ice, Truepure, without any problems. I expanded to Mom & Pops Vapor shop and tried Pchela's Famous Five Layer and from Halo again Cafe Mocha & Twisted Jasva. Could these new juices cause some ( sorry to get graphic ) minor canker on my tongue. (painfull). I've been reading here that some juices can cause irritation. Acidity? Im not sure but never had problems until switching and trying these new flavors. Maybe the PG-VG mixtures were different? I'm talking too much, any ideas?

Some people are sensitive to PG. I'm not familiar with the workings of those retailers, but if they allow you to customize the PG/VG ratio, try getting a higher VG blend.
Then again, I don't think I've heard of PG sensitivity causing canker sores. More of a harsh, scratchy inhale. It could just be non-vaping related.

Thanks for quick replies. I did have a few episodes where hot juice shot through the cart because the tube was flooded and i didn't shake/blow it out. Who knows ,but I will try to use a higher ratio of Vg. Any suggestions on venders that supply customizable blends or all Vg juice. Is there any loss in flavor, vaping experience, etc..? I'm looking for an all day tape, not so much with a tobacco taste but more towards fruits and menthol..
I often have boughts of canker sores. I did notice a particularly bad episode after first starting vaping (not sure if related) but it quickly cleared up. Usually a little extra oral care - brush twice a day, floss, plus h2o2 mouthwash - clears them within a couple days.

Its hard to get actual 100% VG since a lot of flavorings come in a PG base.
All VG can mute flavors some as PG seems to carry flavors better. You can counter act that on some sites by getting double flavor or "flavor shots."

I was a pack and a half a day Newport 100's smoker. Ya, I know, " NEWPORT 100'S ", how i ended up there I'll never know but it's been almost two months now and no regular cigs. period. I'll never go back but I need to find my range and flavors to suit my needs. I've recently purchased several new mods, the Super T precise Plus 18650 and the 16340. I can't wait for them to arrive. I'll be stepping up from Halo's G6. How much improvement and what kind will I experience?
follow up on irritation , went to see Dr. was a reaction to flu shot NOT my vapor experience. Whew !! I've been waiting patiently for an order I placed from Cloud 9 Vaping in the UK on 10/26/12. Has anyone from the U.S. placed an order from them? I've been waiting for shipment and the only update that I get from USPC is " Origin Post is Preparing Shipment ". Cloud 9 Vaping assured me it was placed in the hands of the Royal Mail and shipped back on 10/29/12. Is this usual when dealing with companies overseas? I'm on a pre-order list for a Caravela. I imagine the experience will be the same.

Well yes, people do tend to blame everything on liquid (or PG specifically) and tell people to toss their liquid and buy the liquid they're vaping.
Not always the case. I'd venture to say it's not usually the case.

I got irritation from lemon/lime/citrus juices. Too bad, because i like these most :/
Even before I started vaping, I would get canker sores. My dentist mentioned that acidic foods (citrus, tomatoes, etc) can definitely trigger them. Maybe the flavoring in the citrus juices is the same way?
