Is 100% VG liquid ok to use?

Hello, I have a Smok Tech NBC V2 tank (its a bottom coil), and a 650 mah ego battery, and I was wondering if I could use 100% VG liquid in that tank. I am vaping as a substitute for hookah, not cigs, so I would like the most clouds possible for tricks and just to vape, so I don't use any nicotene, and I dont really care about that "throat hit" that PG apparently gives you. I heard that the more VG you get, the more vapor it produces. I figured that 100% VG would be perfect, the only thing I'm worried about is it being too thick to wick properly, and eventually getting so many dry hits that it burns my coils. Thanks in advance for any replies!

100% VG is perfectly suitable for vaping in most tanks. I am not familiar with the specific tank you are using, but as a general rule, bottom coil tanks are better suited for thicker juices than top coil tanks. You may still have wicking/burning issues, but they will be greatly reduced from what you would get from a top coil tank. I use bottom coil tanks (Protank, Protank 2, EVOD, T3S, Ismoka BCC Mega and Mini) for all my thick juices and have never had a burning problem from any of them. The biggest problem I have had is my coils gunking up from the thicker juices and as a result, needing to be replaced faster.

I don't use that tank but I have been increasing the VG in my juices lately. I'm now at about 80% VG and that can be a bit of an issue with wicking in some systems. I add water when needed to thin it. If I stick with this I'll buy distilled water, but so far I've been using tap water. I find I'm good with adding 2%, but if you need 4 or 6%, that wouldn't worry me. Water does not reduce vapor production, but eventually it will reduce flavor.

Thanks for all the replies guys, and to answer the question of what I use now- I have no idea, it was given to me by a friend, it's thinner, but not really watery. The brand is top vapor, 0mg nicotene. Doesnt say on the bottle what the pg/vg level is. I think I may just stock up on coils and try out 100% vg. One of the only sites I can find that has my type of coil only has 60% pg and 40% vg, and 100% vg.

I switched from hookah as well, and while I haven't tried a 0/100vg juice, I'm quite satisfied with the vapor produced with lower vg liquids! Right now I'm using a 50/50 blend but I have a few 70pg/30vg flavors coming in from tasty vapor that I'm excited to try! As for the 100vg juice, I've heard claims that it can cause congestion because of the higher amounts of vg, so keep that in mind while puchasing! Personally I have noticed being a bit more stuffed up lately, but I just assumed it was allergies. Not sure yet, ill know when I get the new juices! If you're looking into 0mg nicotine liquids and want the options for 100vg, I recomend tasty vapor, they have quite a few customizable options, and you can get two to four times as much 0mg liquid for the same price as liquids with nicotine! Look up their doublers, I've got two on the way! (Blue bulls and kretek clove)
