Is a coil assembly is the single most important part of clearos?

Some of the disposable coil heads can be rebuilt. I have a Evod 2 and a few of the old style heads. I've put a custom parallel coil with cotton wicks in it and it's way better than stock. Airflow and heat dissapation can make the same coil perform differently in different devices. Also, the pre-wrapped and pre-wicked coil heads are done by the hands of various Chinese dudes that are probably under a slight bit of not so polite pressure from their boss to keep production up. That means 'inconsistent' at best. So, same type of coil in different devices will perform differently. Maybe only slightly, maybe drastically.

Thanks everybody for confirming that quality of clearo is mostly in its coil.

I like protank coils – easy to rebuild, nice performance. Right now my clearo of choice is RG280 – 2.8 ml, could be vaped until it practically empty (no need to keep it “at least one-third full”), but I want something bigger with the same coil. Any advice?
