This country is so ... backwards ! I don't know where to even start, but how about this, it sounds like the right people haven't got their pay off yet.... Didn't America used to be about freedom or is that another lie we were all tought in public schools

Seems like it's now "You can have freedom as long as you live your life the way we say." It's a bit like taking a date out to dinner at a nice restaurant and telling her "Hey baby. You look so beautiful tonight that what the heck, sky's the limit....up to $20."
That's a nasty slur on attention whoring ambulance chasing lawyers.
OHH come on now lawyers work hard, how else can they bill for 70 hours a day.
Well BigJimW better hope there aren't any attention whoring ambulance chasing lawyers on this forum, they might file a class action libel suit.
Apologies if this is a little off topic, but I think we lost control of the government when "we the people" became "we the corporations" ..politicians are not accountable to the people any more, just the corporations that keep them in office. Good luck changing that status quo though.
That's a good point. I do hope there comes a day when these types of folks can be held accountable for their actions, especially, god forbid, if they succeed in their total ban efforts. By all intents and purpose they would have blood on their hand in my opinion, the same as the folks who have banned them in other countries such as Thailand and Australia.
It's important to check the date on an original post before responding, because the situation may well be OBE (overcome by events). The article referenced in the OP was a press release published 4/1/2010. The guy who wrote the piece (of trash) is no longer connected with the organization (thankfully).
He was such a news hog that I refuse to cite his name in my responses, lest it turn up in a Google search and give him publicity he doesn't deserve.
