Is any leakage normal? Or acceptable?

What do you think? In my experience pretty much all of my pen style models have leaked a little bit occasionally, beading up in a ring around the connection between the atomizer and battery. And only occasionally, not all of the time. I've considered that annoying, but basically normal, and have only returned a couple of atomizers that have been leaking enough for it to drip down the sides.

Obviously, ideally, there would never be any leakage, no mater how small. BUt these are basically small pots of liquid, which have to have air paths around them, so enevitably some liquid will spill out of the pot into the airpath. So we have to accept some leakage. Just as long as it's not all the time, or dripping down the sides, right?

Do you accept any leakage? And if so, how much is OK? How much is too much?

I love the penstyles but I have experienced leakage too. I don't find any leakage acceptable. It was kind of a shock the first time it happened when I picked up my cig and it slipped out of my hand. I thought a bottle of liq had leaked in my cig pouch until I found out it was coming from around the ring where the atomizer and battery meet. I knew that couldn't be good. :( And I wonder what to do about it. Don't drip anymore? I don't drip that much to start with...but in order to get a decent amount of smoke, I do need to do it occasionally. *sigh* I keep an eye on it and disconnect the battery after every use so I don't kill it.

some kind of none return or one way valve would be needed.. something that permits the needed airflow in but dosnt let the liquid out.. at present the manufacturers rely only on them not being too wet.. but as we all know if they aint wet they dont work..

i get wet greasy fingers when i fondle my mini.. i try not to do it.. he he

so with the technology as it is and wet atomizers it could be considered normal..

messy.. but then again so were real cigarettes..
