Alright guys update time. Looked at the wick and it seems pretty good to me. So i left that alone. took the bottom base apart. check my airflow screw which seemed to far out to me. So i re screwed it all the way in and then start the unscrewing. I noticed that i could go past the maximum airflow and it allowed me to unscrew it all the way. So i reversed went tight and unscrewed until i couldn't notice any more air change. I then screwed in the 510 pin. After that i noticed that the platform wasnt all the way down as it should be when fully opened. Basically i had to use more force then i thought i would to turn it so that the platform was all the way down. Then i reassembled, added a bit of juice to the coil and wick, put tank on and it has been vaping great since without any dry hits!!! Thank you all for letting me pick your brains and giving me all the advice! im so excited to finally be able to really experiment with this setup without having all the builds hitting dry!
Thanks all!!
A little chapstick on o-ring around the square area below the juice deck works wonders. Put a little on a q-tip and rub it on the o-ring. This made my 3 work a lot smoother.

Glad you figured it all out!

I suspected that the juice control might not be all the way open. That's a part of the K4 that you just have to take apart to see how it works. I had the same problem the first few days. Glad you figured it out.

I've had leaking on occasion and it seems to be dry o-rings. Most of the threads on the K4 talk about lubing the 0-rings to ensure a good seal. There's also some talk about the o-rings needing to be very slightly larger to ensure a good seal. I can barely tell when the o-ring makes contact on the atomizer. That's something I'm not used to.
