HI :D

I have the battery charger that came with my first Provari Mini. It works great but now I am about to delve into RBAs. I probably won't ever vape with a resistance under .7 ohms. Going to buy a kayfun Lite and some stuff meters, Kanthal, wick etc. to get set up building coils. I will also be vaping +ohm resistance for now.

I follow Bad's blogs like a stalker, so I am reading what he has to say on noob RBA setups. But I didn't see anywhere in there (other than buy a charger and some suggestions) that the charger had to be special or different in any way. If I have a battery tester, can I get away with my existing charger and still be safe?

Thanks

EDIT: It's a Tenergy TN270 and I want to prepare to drop the ohms once I get the right MOD.

I don't know what battery charger came with your Provari.

Battery chargers are not all created equal however.

If you have a no name, generic charger or a trustfire you should get a better charger such as a Nitecore, Xtar, Pila. or Efest LUC.

I have an Xtar MC1, LUC v2 and a Nitcore I4.

All perform well.

The Xtar was the cheapest by far but uses the same charging algorythims of the more expensive Xtar chargers and serves as my travel charger.

The LUC has a few more features than the Nitecore such as a screen that displays battery voltage. It was much more expensive than the other two.

The Nitcore works flawlessly but feels cheap in that the sliders feel cheap and are sticky.

A good quality charger is a necessity for maximum battery life.
