I'm brand new to ECF and I post what i thought would be a simple DIY question i had to get started and not one person answered it.

other new people just post a random story and they get flooded with welcomes and help and advice

Am I going to be ignored a lot on DIY topics? Is this forum only for people advertising their favorite brands to one another?

Ok that makes sense DIY is probably a smaller contingent and i should probably just go over there...thank you both <3

You need to have 5 posts in the newcomers forum before you can post in the other forums. You can read, but not post until then. After you get your 5 posts, the server has to reset, so it might be a little while before you can post in the other forums.

Welcome to ECF. It is a very friendly community. Lots of folks DIY juice and you will get answers I promise.

I went back and looked at your thread. I think the problem is just that there aren't many B&M places where you can get that kind of stuff, so probably nobody knew the answer to your question, especially in the newbie forum.

Syringes can sometimes be gotten at places like a walmart pharmacy. You have to go ask (you can tell them it's for medicine dispensing if you don't want to go into details).

You can buy syringes at a Tractor Supply if you have one in your area. They also have needles, although they are all sharps. If you want blunts, you probably have to order online or use something to file off the sharps. One person did say they found blunt needles at a staples in the ink jet refills section. I haven't seen them there though.

I'm not sure where you could find little dripper bottles. Maybe a Joann's or a Michael's craft store.

From what I have experienced so far this forum is full of open minded individuals who love vaping. I do see a genuine concern for helping members to quit smoking cigarettes and they are very passionate about it. Other than that there is a lot of intelligent conversations with members willing to share the knowledge they have acquired so far and are open to learning new things.

I honestly don't think anyone is going to have a problem with how you vape. To be honest, from my perspective, DIY projects bring a lot of interest because we're able to see a thought process brought to life through DIY threads and pictures documenting the experience.

I would suggest you post like you don't care if someone is going to dislike what you're posting about. If it has to do with vaping you're going to find members chomping at the bit to talk about it.

Welcome aboard!

I think I've seen blunt-needle syringes in the glue sections of some stores, and also for lubrication. More of a hardware thing.

Most likely as was mentioned it was probably a case of people did not know how to answer. By the way welcome to the forum. This place is really great for information and there are a lot of people on here who DIY. I am not one of them but I see the posts on a lot of threads so no worries there. I would bet there is no forum out there with a larger membership. Go to the DIY sub-forum and you will get lots of help.We can always use new faces around here just don't be a Troll.

When I started DIY, I ordered my syringes and dripper bottles right off amazon. I've cranked out probably 500ml of DIY with it now and still have some unused bottles and brand new syringes. Just search 10ml dropper bottle on amazon and you'll see you can get 50 of them for 8 bucks or so. For measuring flavoring, I've opted to use diabetic syringes instead of the bigger ones. I picked those up at walmart. Just ask the pharmacist. They are .3 ml and you can measure down to .01 ml with them.
