I want someone's honest answer.
Do you think that if you vaped maybe 4 hours everyday for the rest of your life (or until you get sick of it in a couple decades) that you will start getting health issues, just like with analogs?

Don't get me wrong I love my new 510 and am waiting for my first juices to come in, I just feel like i'm becoming really really addicted like I did with analogs the first time I tried them when I was 16.

It hasn't been around long enough for anyone to know about future health issues. But compared to tobacco I think it's far safer. You are pretty much assured to have health issues if you keep smoking cigarettes. I'll stick with vaping. Cutting it down to zero nicotine bit at a time and eventually quit vaping too.
Oh, and I've been vaping a lot longer than 4 hours a day and for nearly 9 months and I feel 100x better than I did when I smoked cigarettes.

Well, unlike tobacco smoke, the EPA has tested propylene glycol to be safe for human inhalation.

ANYTHING you put in your body could potentially be harmful. They haven't figured out what causes a lot of diseases and cancers. For all we know, it could be long-term exposure to the fluoride in the water - who knows??

Everything in moderation is always a safer bet. But NOTHING is 100% safe. NOTHING.

You could replace that action with just about any other action and have concerns:

Jumped - knee issues, osteoarthritis
Played video games - obesity, poor eye sight, CTS
Filed paperwork - CTS, osteoarthritis, chronic paper cuts 8-o
Window licking -
etc. -
etc. -

I believe vaping to be healthier by leaps and bounds over analog smoking. I believe I am better off now and in the long term for making this lifestyle choice.

Window licking? I would have some concerns about a person mental condition that causes them to do that in the first place.

As everyone else has said, nothing is safe. Everything has it's risks. You can roll onto something in your sleep that punctures your eye and goes a bit further to damage your brain. Yes, that is a very extreme, but it's possible, man.

All research aside, I feel better. My body is reacting as if I went cold turkey, which is the sign choice made that won't kill me as fast if at all.

Healthy? That remains to be seen. Healthier than a regular cigarette? I have to say in my opinion yes. I can breathe easier and don't hack in the mornings like I use to, my blood pressure dropped 10 points and my triglycrides are down.. Not sure how or even if the triglycrides being lower is related but it's lower and that's the only change I have made so I'll go with it.

Would you rather keep smoking tobacco cigarettes and inhaling 4,000 chemicals and other deadly carcinogens or inhale water vapor? Only reason why the FDA hasn't approved them is because they can't tax and make money off of them yet. Once they find a way to make money on them then watch how fast the electronic cigarettes will be approved.

Rob: My triglycerides normalized also. 3 months ago they were not because of smoking!

OP: I had a check up 3 months ago. Doc prescribed Chantix. I refused to fill the script...scared. Picked up an e cig and started vaping but have NOT completely quit analogs, still smoke 3 -5 per day. Went back to doc and his statement was that my lungs sound better than they have in 10 years. Almost completely clear. Ordered blood tests again and everything came back completely normal.

IDK if it is safe....but I feel better, can breathe better and doc is now sold on my continuing to use them! Oh yeah...he said it was OK to stay up late, sleep in and nap too!!! Love my doc!! :)

Oh duh... Every chemical has a safety sheet thing. I forget what they're called, though. I never even thought about looking it up.

Odd note: I had a friend tell me yesterday to hold off on the e-cig because while he was in line somewhere they started talking about e-cigs and some guy told him the by-product of it was antifreeze. I knew that things get skewed from one person to another, but wow! I set the story straight, but it's scary that information like that is bring spread about the e-cigs.

Wow, I'm not at all surprised to hear this, but it just is aggravating. Stories turn into rumors, then rumors turn into stories. Reminds me of the Oreo Cakester commercial.

YouTube - Oreo Cakester commercial

Inhale an ingredients for antifreeze...but don't analogs contain ingredients for rat poison, or is that just another rumor?
