Lately, everytime I come to the ECForum, my anti-virus pops up, blocking two high risk activities from 64.72.105.3:
Intrusion Attempts Severity High:
1. Web Attack: Malicious Toolkit Website 9
and
2. Web attack: Malicious Java Activity 5

Started two weeks ago, anyone else having this blocked by their anti-virus, and any gurus know what it is?

make sure your java is up-to-date, alex is working on the problem. it seems to effect only people whose updates are not recent

your norton is catching it but the better way is not to let it come that far.
if you have not enabled automatic updates for windows and java you'll need to remember to check for updates once a week.

But Windows Updates is absolutely enabled and working. I have windows 7 32/64bit, maybe it's the 64bit not getting the Java dl right? idk ...

Norton has been blocking it, but it's still kind of scary. I hope Alex fixes it soon. Good to know someone knows about it and is working on it. Thank you !!!

Java update is done via control panel in windows. You can't update Java via windows update.

Also, are there ad's running on this website? Because chances are if there are (i don't see them, adblock+ add on for firefox), then you're getting a false flag from those ads. Some ads are a problem and do cause trouble for people seeing them. I suggest reporting this to the ECF admin's because whoever runs the site can fix it so those ad streams don't get used.
