i only caught your post because 'my posts' was not working earlier on and i had to navigate ecf differently than i usually do. i realize ecf is getting so large that most people just navigate to the forums they participate in. but i would advise everybody to make a stop in the 'site feedback and help' section once in a while. lots of good info there which sometimes can help us avoid lots of aggro.

I just posted that, then you came along - was kind of magical. I'm still not having the problem after updating Java (ya know, I just updated it very recently), but according to the thread you mentioned Java updates almost weekly, so will have to keep checking. Yes, nice running into you, thanks for the help. Serendipity.
If you "disable" or uninstall Java you will have some issues with some WEB sites. The original warning/info post suggested not using Internet Explorer but rather Firefox or Chrome. Keep in mind there are 2 versions of Java and Windows 7 64-bit has 2 versions of Internet Explorer 32 and 64 bit so you may need to download the 64-bit version of Java as well.

There are a few redirects that the site seems to use if you have the Heuristic settings high could be warning the change. Also if you have the settings to ask what do like allow or restrict Vs letting the anti virus decide what to do. I would recommend Kaspersky as a tight anti virus.
when your anti-virus tells you your subscribtion is done and asks you to buy a new one online....say no and go buy a disc. You dont get full protection from just downloading it. just a fyi. my bf works as a computer repair guy and reloads computers everyday from people getting viruses.
