Is extended warranty needed ?

I'm getting ready to get a satin black mini when available.

Provari offers a one year extension of their warranty for about 24$

Has anyone needed this ?

My impression is that it's such a good unit extended warranty is a waste.

If I stayed in USA I would probably have gone for the extended warranty, but international shipping kills that idea. It is super solid build quality and I am sure it will last 24 month easily and worked out to a monthly cost compared to analogues I can personally justify buying a new one if mine does break.

Yes, I used my warranty after 1.5 years. The sight window sort a melted from some juice I was a usin. Sent it in, they replaced the window and returned in record time. JMHO

And how much would the plastic replacement have been without the warranty?
Save the $25 and just buy a new Provari every year.

the first year is great; most issues if any will show up by then.
The extended warranty is a toss up... great service even if you don't have one / if you do all you pay is shipping to Provape.

For what it's worth, I skipped it. I've read up quite a bit on Provaris, and there are very few reported issues, so I figured if I get unlucky a year later, I'll just suck it up and pay whatever it costs to fix it.

I had a couple issues but mine were 2 first run Provari's and those glitches have been worked out; including a new window.
These guys are great at service ++

Yeah it seems that the warranty isn't needed.

I do intend to get a mini with blue LED hopefully in black satin.

Im with Frick, I usually don't get warranties on anything. I try to take care of my stuff, and if it breaks, I can pay then, or get a new one...

For me the 25.00 extra is good for that extra bit of peace of mind,
knowing I'll be using this Provari for at least 2yrs.
('bout 10 bucks a month to drive a caddy)
Hedged my bet.

You're all right though, with a top notch item like this, it may go
unused. All for the best.
