Only you can answer that question for yourself. There have been numerous threads on the subject - some of them probably still on the first page of this sub-forum. Many believe the "premium" liquids are worth the premium price. Others will tell you it's all marketing hype and any positive opinions are contrived by folks trying to justify their expenditures.

Me? I like what I like. Some of the stuff I vape is expensive, some not. (edit to add: I find the more expensive juices I vape to have deeper complexity and clarity of flavors - some will debunk this as some psychosomatic effect of popular opinion or fancy packaging - again, only you can answer for yourself)

This is what I have on hand today:

(expensive, mid-price, inexpensive - from left to right)

+1 for this. Pretty much sums it up.

I can't stand some of the "premium" juices, especially Johnson's Creek. Gums up my coils and makes me hack. I prefer mid-range juice with a high PG content. Tried MBV and every one I tried I had to give away....

You will find that your taste buds are going to change rapidly, and something you hate/love now may induce the opposite reaction later. (I used to adore JC, now the smell makes me ill.) My advice is to try all you can afford (in the smallest quantity possible) until YOU decide what you prefer.

IMO I couldn't tell a difference between a premium (expensive) and some thing like MBV until I started dripping. In tanks I can't really tell a difference. But personally I vape anything. My favorites tend to be on the higher price side (22-18 for a 30ml) but I still order good ol MBV sometimes. You should just try and see what you like.

People often justify premium prices with saying about the complexity of the juice, but just because there are multiple ingredients it does not mean it is a great juice.

It is all subjective though (as others have said).

Some people love the taste of champagne, but who knows if they would still love it if it didn't cost so much?

In terms of production cost, no the premium juice is not worth it. That is unless they use uniquely sourced flavourings or create their own flavour extracts.

It's subjective. Honestly don't worry about cost or brand names or popular perception if you like a certain juice. I never read online reviews on vendor websites and I don't interact with any other vapers IRL, so it has never been a popularity contest or trying to keep up with the Jones or what's fashionable this month for me. I have some cheap stuff and some expensive stuff at home, and I find that, having both on hand, I end up with empty bottles of the pricier stuff and still mostly full bottles of the cheaper stuff. I also did cheapo Kanger Cherry 18mg for a year and lived to tell about it. Maybe my juice will change again someday as my tastes change?

I purposely spent 2 weeks buying and vaping all the big name, big price juices. To answer your question, no, they are not worth the price, most of the ones I tried(and I tried all the "biggies") all were at the least a letdown, at the worst, unvapeable. Not one of the high priced juices were worth the price, that is based strictly on taste.

For me it depends. I've had some high end juices that I love and others that I absolutely hated. I go by what I like and sometimes, yeah, it's a pricey juice, but then again, there are others I like that are not considered a high end juice. One premium juice I have is Gambit by Five Pawns, and while I did like it, it was way too complex for me, but I will still throw it on my RDA every once in a while just because I'm in the mood for something a little more complex and I'm in the right mood for it. That's also the way I approach desserts, sometimes I'm in the mood for something really decadent and complex and other times just pass me a sugar cookie and I'm good!

I have been vaping almost a month now and I have found great deals on e-juice (Slim's, killer-juice) I like these juices and am wondering what the difference between them and "premium" juices are? (Is it just price?)

Oh no.
Of course not.
Absolutely no.

It's the other way around.
It's "Can I afford this?"

Once you find yourself asking if it's worth it, that means you can't afford it.

Maybe for Christmas and birthday time

If you like fancy packaging & a story to go along with it, then high end e juice is worth it. I have only 1 flavor in my regular rotation that is over .50 cent per ml when bought by the 30ml bottle. I have lots of high end juice in my stash but it either isn't for me or is a rare treat. Oh yeah in case you're wondering that 1 flavor is Nicoticket The Virus.
