due to terrible storage I have now broken my second (cheap) dmm.

Is it ok to use my d4 charger to put the battery in for a sec to check the voltage or is that a no-no.

Literally as soon as it reads I take it out.

Can't see how it would hurt anything. If the battery in only partially charged, it will start to. If the battery is full, the D4 will not charge it.

Every battery I generally only discharge 1 day and charge the next (I've got 15 so it works). Every batt has usually dropped from 4.20 to 4.18 so it would charge but I take it out straightaway.

Also I find it hard to sometimes feel the small wattage drop when using kfuns on my mech so I'll check and put back sometimes. Still alright?

Again, why not? If your voltage dropped, it will start to charge. If the drop isn't enough to bother you, take it out and put it back in the mod. Worse that I can imagine is if you did that all day you might wear down the springs in the battery charge grooves, but once or twice a day shouldn't decrease the life cycle.

I don't see a problem using your charger to check voltage.
If you don't want to use the charger or take out the DMM these:
