ma too! Last night along with another experiment.. I started soaking 5 organic Chai teabags in Pg and some VG(in a glass jar and just enough juice to cover the teabags)... Agitating it whenever I think of it. I want them to soak for up to a week, but tried it tonight and it tastes great! Not sure about if the caffeine is working but I feel something though it could be placebo. I didn't add any nic to it but I might in the final product.

All I can say for sure is it tastes FANTASTIC!

Let us know if it gunks up your atomizer or you actually find out the caffeine is in there!

I would imagine it's possible. The caffeine should definitely absorb into the pg. This is essentially the same process as steeping a cup of coffee, just without the heat.

I would imagine that, since the whole content of the vapor is atomized, the caffeine would go with it in the vapor. This should be the same thing that happens when people make juice from snus.

What I don't know is if the caffeine can be processed into your body by the lungs. I can't imagine why it couldn't though. I have seen sites online that sell juices that contain various vitamins. One, for instance, contained vitamin c. Another that was discussed in a different thread contained valerian root extract to help people sleep (valerian can cause health problems so it is not recommended you try this). If your lungs are capable of extracting vaporized vitamin c, they should be capable of extracting caffeine.

Then there's the further question of whether or not it could lead to health problems. Caffeine can lead to heart problems among other things. I imagine it would be difficult to regulate the amount of caffeine contained in your juice (though I have no doubt that someone here could figure it out). Besides. I imagine you would use a lot less coffee making juice than you would brewing coffee (especially considering you would probably not vape nearly as much juice as you would drink coffee or tea).

Well, it being so late I didn't even think of this, but...

A friend of mine works for some PhD scientists who test medical ......... out here from distributors for it's contents.

I'm going to see if he can get them to test some juice for caffeine, and find out if caffeine can be absorbed through the lungs.

Maybe I can get them to give me a ratio of juice to coffee grinds to actually get a stimulant effect.

"Ok, here is what is going to happen when vaping caffeine. Caffeine sublimes from solid to gas. It will deposit caffeine solid into your throat, nose and sinuses. Yes, it would work to get caffeine, BUT IT WOULD SUCK!! It would burn your nose a lot, possibly making it bleed, and I have no idea what caffeine in the lungs would do. It is not the same kind of stimulant as nicotine. Caffeine works by blocking cyclic AMP, forcing the body to start using up the ATP energy system. It mimics adenosine monophosphate (AMP) primarily, not like nicotine that stimulates the brain directly. Mucus membrane absorption is far less effective, because of its structure, than digestion in the gut. "

Definitely not a good idea!

i have made juice with coffee grounds.. does not burn throat ext.. but the thing is that so little caffeine would be in the juice that i would have to vape all day to get a cup of coffee worth of caffeine..

it actually came out tasting pretty good.. wont advise doing it though since i have not vaped enough of what i made in a atty to see if it effects it..

might do a tea next..
