I detect a sour taste with a handful of juices that should not taste that way. One juice vendor who I trust completely said that some people find that PG tastes sour. I ordered some PG from Wizard Labs and was able to rule out the PG as being the culprit.

Many juice vendors will let you choose PG/VG ratios so you could compare 100% VG juice with a PG/VG mix. However, many flavorings are PG based so you need to ask ahead of time if they have any PG-free flavorings.

Hell yeah you can hate PG...well, I think you can hate the flavors as they are revealed through all PG. Think of it like this, PG and VG or a mix of both is like a tube amp vs. a solid state: the flavors are the same, or the signals are the same, but they get presented to the listener, or the taster, differently. PG is high on the treble.

I was just about to post the following when I saw your thread and figured it fits in ...

So am I the only one that gets nauseous when vaping PG more than a small percentage mix?

I can handle 10-20% (I still try to avoid it). But much more than that and I just feel like crud. I'm fairly sure it isn't one batch of PG that is hitting me because I'm coming from a couple of different good-to-high quality mixes (Wild Valley Carmel Machiatto, Mad Murdoch Maha Ras, Cafe eCig Cinnamon Roll). It actually made me not even want to vape today after experimenting with them.

I thought maybe after a day or so I'd accomodate but looks like I'm sticking with high or total VG.

And I would add that I simply tend to like the flavor far less from PG blends.

Pretty much all I stick with is VG cut with a little distilled water to thin it for wicking. ePipeMods.com Pipe Sauce is great (pre-mixed with a little water so it is ready to go out of the bottle), though I'm looking for some other flavors. I like the sites that allow you to customize your mix. Mellow Blend from Cafe eCig at 100% VG and then just put a few drops of water in the tank to thin it.

PG and I just don't get along.

Based on what I can find in reading, which I'm sure people who like PG mixes won't agree with, we're not the only ones that don't like PG.

When I get my next order I'll know for sure...if it's the pg than I have a boat full of juice to get rid of.
