Is it safe to charge a device on a PC?

Have a vape. Just trying to get my 5 posts. Maybe you could explain why a battery would fail and what to do to avoid it.

You do not have a power supply that puts out 500 MILLIWATTS. It puts out 500 WATTS. EACH USB port is rated at the values I stated.

AS far as ignornce about electronics, I think I left that somewhere behind in the 35 years I have been working on highly complex electronic systems for the US Navy.

500 watts??


My guess is you were a Radioman or Operations Specialist.
