Is it safe to run the Aspire Atlantis at 50-55 watts?

Hey everyone, just wondering if running the Atlantis at 50-55 watts through my sigelei 150 box would ruin the coil OR blow up my hand. I will be using the 25R's as batteries

the coils on the atlantis are pre built in the factory at .5 ohms

seams reasonable, i wouldnt worry about the batteries exploding as much as i would your coils frying. but with those coils, 50-55W seems like a mid-high range for the coils.

it's safe but I personally don't like how it wicks at that wattage. I chain vape with mine at 30 watts and the 2nd to tightest airhole..wicks very well in this setup and produces a good amoujnt of vapor.

50 watts is doable, just don't do too long a pull on it.

Theres no way with those batteries amd that wattage that any thing will happen but you will get dry hits like crazy and the vapor gets really hot really quick. I ran mine at 45 watts mostly and still had to change to a delrin driptip because the heat. It really doesnt need to go above 40 watts otherwise it just makes it seem like its not as good as it is.

It's safe of course but you're either going to get a disgusting burnt cotton taste or torch your coil. probably both. I wouldn't take her past 40. 45 is pushing it

You can run the mod at whatever you want. It has fail safes installed into the board. Now the question is can the atomizer handle it. This goes for any atty you put on that box, it comes down too whether or not you can keep the wicks wet.

That particular atty from what I have heard is a 35 w kinda vape. I seen a video last night of a dude and a beast box, he hit it and had flames coming out of the atty into his mouth. Hard to say what the situation was but it was probably a dumb ... of the year award kinda thing.

More than likely the cotton liner around the fiberglass/ceramic paper going poof. It's very common for that stuff to get scorched and burned away depending on the wattage.
