Is it safe to run the Aspire Atlantis at 50-55 watts?

Theres no way with those batteries amd that wattage that any thing will happen but you will get dry hits like crazy and the vapor gets really hot really quick. I ran mine at 45 watts mostly and still had to change to a delrin driptip because the heat. It really doesnt need to go above 40 watts otherwise it just makes it seem like its not as good as it is.

You can run the mod at whatever you want. It has fail safes installed into the board. Now the question is can the atomizer handle it. This goes for any atty you put on that box, it comes down too whether or not you can keep the wicks wet.

That particular atty from what I have heard is a 35 w kinda vape. I seen a video last night of a dude and a beast box, he hit it and had flames coming out of the atty into his mouth. Hard to say what the situation was but it was probably a dumb ... of the year award kinda thing.

More than likely the cotton liner around the fiberglass/ceramic paper going poof. It's very common for that stuff to get scorched and burned away depending on the wattage.
