is it safe to use 1.5 ohm LR atty on 3.7V USB passthrough?

just ordered one from FSUSA and was thinking about which battery I should use -- at first I thought I definitely wasn't throwing it on my 900maH EGO batt in case the LR kills batteries faster -- figured why not just use the standard 510 batts -- but then I thought, why kill any batteries faster if I can just use the passthrough -- it's not like low resistance will kill a passthrough right? Idk.

will low resistance atomizers hurt the passthrough?

Hi Sean,
I don't have a LR atty so I don't know for sure, but from reading here on the forum my understanding is this. You should be ok with your 900maH Ego. It may or may not shorten your ~300 recharge life cycle but shouldn't kill it in short order. The standard 510 is a different story and probably won't survive very long. Your passthrough should survive but will probably have some internal limiting on the current. A big consideration there is to not use your computer but use a USB wall plug, just in case. Hopefully some one will come along that actually has an LR and passthrough. Main thing is don't use it on your standard 510 batt. Hope this helps. JD

I'm using a LR eGo Mega cylinder atty, which is 1.5 ohms according to the vendor, with my USB 650 battery and it's fine so far. Granted, this is only my first day using it, but so far so good with moderate to constant vaping using it as a pass-through. I'm currently testing it out on a full charge to see how long it lasts without using it as a PT. ATM, it's been just under 2 hours of casual to moderate vaping, unplugged. I got a buzz so I ended up slowing down. Lol.
