Why feel guilty? If you smoked exactly 1 pack a day you could blow $100 every month on juice and hardware and STILL be saving $50+ per month. Obviously the less you spend, the more you save, but you can spend quite a lot and still be coming out cheaper in the long run.
I've saved over $24,000 from not buying cigarettes so far. I don't know how much of that I've spent on vape supplies. But, I'm sure it's well under $10,000.
Besides, until deeming is over, I plan to get my hands on Shiny Things that may not be available to me later. Or so I am telling myself, that Gottleib news article made me all ......n twitchy. So, I don't feel guilty in the slightest, and I'm not quite sure why I should. I kinda thought I was stocked up, but I need to freaking.... sit down and organize and inventory, as well as make a list of what I may be running low on (Nautilus BVC coils, my idea of running low is probably different than yours...) Another gallon of 100 mg/ml, Etc. Watch that dreadful Nautilus BVC coil building video and see if I can replicate it (those coils are TINY though...). That type of stuff. Honestly, though, if I could rebuild N2 coils, it would make me very happy. They don't, you know, last. :)

Anna
The only clearo stuff that I've stocked up on that's not rebuildable are the non-Nautilus BVC coils for my Billet Box. I know some people rebuild BVC coils. But, I don't consider them rebuildable, not for ME anyway. I know my limits!

Why not try a clearo that just as good AND rebuildable, like the CLR coils for the Ego One Tanks?

They won't fit in my Titanium Kabuki. I did get a kayfun clone built wicked, and not just running but running beautifully! I do have quite a few RTAs I need to do that with, but this was my first super successful build actually, and I am loving it so far. But, I also plan to love my Kabuki forever, hence the bvc coils, and my plan to build them if the need ever arises, well, in theory I will be building them, I imagine the husband would be building those FOR me, if we're to be at all realistic about things.

No, not a hoarder or nothin'.

You're a mean one Mr Grinch... :pop:

I dunno man, kinda...
If I'm talking to kiddies about old Mr C then I wouldn't ruin their surprise but I'm going away and not even coming back home for that crappy time of year.
  • Seeing more of extended family which I keep extended for a reason (yawn)
  • Swapping unwanted surprises with said family in the hope of receipt of a gift which I could buy myself and cut out the middle man
  • More skint then any other time of year (boo)
  • Travel times are ridiculous and the cost is doubled at least
  • Accommodation price goes up
  • Board/bored games (double yawn)
  • Carol singers at my door (more yawn)
  • Crowds everywhere (annoying)
How's that for a grinch

Oh yeah, 'merry Christmas'

My kindle just died so i want that but im waiting til after Christmas just in case A) someone buys me one or B) just in case i overspend during this holiday season i just want to make sure i have plenty of money in the bank.

I'm not planning on spending any more money on myself til after Christmas as a result.

I don't trust anyone close to me to buy me vape gear... I'd rather buy it myself as I know more about vaping than any family or (local) friends or even the local vape shop owner. . So I don't expect anyone to try and I never "ask" for specific gifts.. I trust people who know me to get me little kitchen gadgets or something equally inexpensive if they know me at all and care enough to give a gift.

Therefore, my Christmas (as far as gifts go) will fall sometime in January if I didn't spend it all on others or February if I did.

That said, I'm hoping to buy a squonker and a kindle, although hubby might buy me the kindle for Christmas (if he thinks of it. I won't ask him for one though )
In my family, we all make Amazon Wish lists for Christmas (you can add items from other sites to your wish list too) We set a maximum budget and pick items off of each others list. We throw in a few inexpensive surprises like socks or slippers etc... This way everyone gets what they want or need and it takes the stress out of selecting gifts and shopping. Why not just tell your husband you want a new Kindle, he might appreciate knowing that.

Only if you go unarmed. The upside is sometimes in the heat of price haggling, the deal it's just erupts into a fun and impromptu gunfight so it's like entertainment on top of savings.
Haha, I used to sell on craigslist and had one idiot run into the house because he wanted to show me something on my computer. the 2 Big dogs turned him around and I don't think he meant any harm, he was just weird. I sell everything Online now. Not Vape gear, just re-sale stuff I find at Estate sales and Auctions

You get more than me. If I get something for Christmas, it's because I went out and bought it, wrapped it, and stuck it under the tree...and I AM MARRIED.
In that case I would buy myself a bunch of awesome presents and name tag them to you from Mrs. Santa and then just have a blast opening them Christmas morning.

Omg.. is that what Amazon wish lists are for????

Oops! I guess I never read up on that and I've been using it so I don't lose links to items I want to buy.. then I just buy off that list when I've saved up etc.

I didn't know it was a Christmas list!

I have so got to pay more attention and read rules!

I really hope people don't start buying me hubbies gun gadgets for Christmas this year! Although, he'd be happy! Lol

Haha you can set up multiple list. We use the lists for anything not just Christmas. The only rules to it are the ones you make. My younger brother constantly puts items that are outside the set budget and then gets disappointed when he gets cash or gift cards instead of what he wanted. I told him if he wants actual gifts he should stay within budget and then he does it again. He's such a brat

lol.. My son is the opposite, if I am going to get him a gift he wants cash. The only exception to that is the food baskets. He definitely wants those...along with cash of course! hahaha

I still get him gifts though, because I am so mean. lol..

My mom would always get us what we wanted and a mystery gift, usually a book or something. She's kind of cute about Christmas actually (when she isn't hurling turkeys, long story). Opinionated, there are different kinds of food baskets for free, at his local food bank and various charitable establishments, LOL, I was taking my kid there for a while until he found work, as his needs were not inexpensive and I began running out of money..... Some of that food is Not Terrible at All, and it's a pretty easy going process.

Who doesn't like free food?

DANGER, off topic: Though, I'm quite certain I smoked cigarettes heavily through this story....

Yeah, my flying turkey was my first sober Thanksgiving. My mom has chilled on this since this time (and she also fled to the non-attached garage with my little sis to sneak champagne, I guess they were afraid of "triggering me" those al-anon needing persons that they are.) My mom had this rule that no one could eat until dinner was "ready" and it really sucked, in all honesty. She was finishing up a salad and, dying of hunger that I was, I grabbed a piece of celery out of it. My mom (who was pretty abusive during our youth) slapped my hand and I was like 24, so was having None of That, and informed her in no uncertain terms that "Hitting is never okay." She made a few weak arguments ("It wasn't that hard! I gently tapped you!") so I was like (unknowing she was slightly drunk) "Mom, if you continue this behavior and do not apologize, I will not be attending your dinner."

My sis kept shaking her head at me, but I was like, "Not ONE more time, evil lady." And eventually my mom pulled the (fully cooked) turkey out of the oven and HURLED it at the wall with this incredible SHRIEK and I said, "Well, I guess it's time for me to go to an AA meeting, later." And my mom fled somewhere and my sis started mopping up the turkey, while crying.

I suppose I could have felt bad, and if I'd known they were half lit, I might have gently addressed it on the morrow, but what way would I have to know that, dummy family members? Do you not realize I have ETOH in my own HOUSE for cooking, it's HELPFUL to know if you guys are half lit so I can gauge my responses accordingly?

Anyway, it was the Best Thanksgiving AA story ever (who doesn't love flying turkeys?) and I had a great time at the meeting, and my mom never hit me again, so WIN. LOL.

Also, my mom likes to say the reason half her kids are alcoholics is due to their bio dad, but I'm not so sure about that. This is off topic so I do apologize, I just love the chance to tell this story.

Retail for 25 years. HATE Christmas.

This will be the first year I will be home for Thanksgiving in 6 years. First time I'll be home by 5 on Black Friday and I will not have worked 12-15 hours.

Can't wait.

And I want a Therion BF....just saying.

Lol, the things I've witnessed. The holidays bring out the worst in humanity when it comes to Black Friday.

Please, please, if any of you venture into a retail store Thanksgiving night do not tell an employee you're sorry (it's a shame etc) they have to work Thanksgiving.

It makes them want to rip your throat out. If people wouldn't be willing to line up than they wouldn't have to work. God above I hated that. The almighty dollar...killed Thanksgiving.
