From what I understand, the batteries are good from between 150 - 300 re-charges. I think they want you to believe it is more on the 300 side, but it is actually closer to the 150 side. I can not speak from personal experience, just what I have read on these forums. As far as the atomizers, I would hope it is a little longer 14 days. You can clean them, which greatly extends their lifespan, but I am not sure by how much.

works out then,,its more expensive to have a e-... than the real thing

If you can find a good supplier with decent prices, then do the math. I've found in the beginning yeah, you're going to spend a lot. But in the long run, I am going to be saving tons by switching. =)
Some people end up going crazy with all the new stuff....lol.

Not from what I gather... an atty you can get for around 7 bucks, a battery from what I've seen 10-15... that's 35 plus juice (that's harder to estimate as juice usage seems to vary even more than amount of analog smoked per day does from person to person). I'm going to guess most people could get through the week on about 30 bucks worth.... So assuming you went through an atty and a battery a month.... pluse let's say 3 packs of carts. That's around 160 a month. I spend 70 a week on cigs and mine are less than 5 a pack because I finally gave up my camels due to price :(.

I just purchased a two month supply of DIY e-liquid and 5 different flavors for about $50.00. 5 cartomizers cost about $8.00. And a new battery is around $15.00. That is $73.00. A two month supply of regular cigarettes cost me $270.00, and I smoke the cheap cigarettes. Not to mention the lung power I hope to gain, which to me is priceless.

EDIT: 2 month supply of e-liquid assumes an average use of 3 ml per day.

Start-up kit, 2 packs of 5 carts, and one 60ml bottle of juice-$67.53(which should be more than enough to last me a month).....cigarettes for a month....$200, at least. I see a huge savings for myself, personally. lol. Add to it, i've tried quitting smoking a few times before...this is the first time i've made it through the first 24 hours without someone trying to shove a cigarette in my face. lol =p.

i smoke golden vigina which is on £6.50 per pack ,,,ill be spend loads more fixing these e-sigs than a prepper sig

I guess it would depend on how much you smoke but most people say they save money switching to e-cigs. There's also people who have found ways to get some of the parts to last longer if you check some of the other threads. I've heard of guys getting attys to last as much as 5 months. I'm thinking if you avoid lung cancer you save an incredible amount of money on that alone but that's just me.

I can't speak about the particular kit that you linked to, but I can tell you about my experience with the Joye eGo and Joye
510. I have been vaping almost 6 months now and have never had a battery go bad on me. I know they will eventually go bad since all batteries will do this after a while. Atties tend to be a bit more fickle. Most of the atties I've used have lasted me several weeks, but since I tend to favor cartomizers my atties are not put into constant use.

That being said, I would suggest that if you decide to go with that kit that you should probably order an extra battery or two since that particular battery (being a mini) will most likely only last a couple of hours between charges. You will need more batteries or a personal charger to make it through a typical work day. It's also not a bad idea to have a spare atty available in case it's needed. As an alternative, you might consider the Tornado system that site has available. Those batteries will pretty much last you all day. I personally do not recommend the tank system since I've not had good luck with the tanks myself and there are lots of other people who have had difficulty with the tanks as well. But the regular Tornado kit should work out well for you.

Sort of depends on what cigarettes cost you doesn't it? Lessee NC is pretty cheap compared to other states and I smoked a cheap brand. Figure $100 a month for cigarettes. So in 3 months time I'd spend $300. I won't consider the cost of lighters. In 3 months figure I'd use 5 atomizers, around 300ml (about 3 oz) of juice, by then my batteries are shot. A Riva starter kit has 2 atomizers. Tasty Vapor sells juice at around $15 an ounce if you don't use doublers. We'll go high on the Riva starter kit and call it $45. Attys again high figure $10 a piece for a total of $30 (the kit comes with 2). Juice $45. That's a total of $120. Looks to me like you have money to spare. So, even if you get a dud atomizer or two, you're still ahead.

Just because you have some consumables doesn't mean it's more expensive. Don't forget, cigarettes are %100 consumable. In other states like NY, the cost of those cigarettes would be a lot more.

Also with a PV you can mix your own juice and save more. Now if you go around trying every new gadget, it's more expensive. Also at the beginning you waste some juice finding the ones you like but, that cost will probably fit in the savings.
