I bought two packs of the new vertical coils and do not like them at all. Are they still producing the older horizontal coils? I know they can still be found online but longer term are they going to be available? Don't want to invest in more tanks if I can't get coils for them. If they are stopping production of the horizontal coils I'll look into another tank.

Also considering giving the temp control coils a try as well.

I think the only ones will be leftovers. However, if you're into rebuilding, you can rebuild used vertical ones, and build them horizontal.

Got burned out on rebuilding, whole reason I bought the subtank to start with. Maybe I got duds but both boxes of verticals I got were complete garbage. Would hardly last a day and even then they had a odd burnt taste to them. They seem designed for higher wattage which I don't use, typically 15watts for most juices and 20w for one particular juice. Most of my juices are mint, anise or menthol based so I like a cool vape. The 1.2ohm horizontals were perfect for my use.

I don't use them, myself. Ms Rule does, so I've rebuilt a few for her. She's been using the vertical .5 ohm OCCs with her menthol juice I make for her at 20-21 watts.

I just ordered 4 packs of vert coils on ebay... they sent me horizontal coils instead... there are tons still out there. I prefer the vert coils .5 ohm... but there are advantages to the older coils. No need to rebuid them... if you have 1 minute and a piece of cotton you can pull the old cotton, dry burn the coil and rewick... coils taste just as good rewicked... ive rewicked some 6 times.
