Im not sure if my batt is dead, or if there is a way to fix it so i was wondering if anybody else has had this.

I was using the bat when it died (assuming no charge left). when i put it on to charge the light stays green (but goes the "brighter" its charged green). Still dosnt work, when i test voltage i get 0v with and without button pressed. Could it be a faulty switch? (and can this be fixed), or is this just how they die?

If anybody could let me know what happened when they had a battery die i would greatly appreciate it! If its dead i want to pull it apart and get ready for my first mod, but i REALLY dont want to kill somthing that might be fixable. Did your charge but not work? refuse to charge? give no voltage? Any insight would be appreciated, id hate to kill a good battery by pulling it apart.

How old is the batt? Approx how many charges did you give it? These bats have a limited life. If it's relatively new, try to push the button a couple times when it's off the charger. Then stick it back on the charger and see if it works. My 801 manuals act up from time to time like that.

Also, make sure there's no juice on the contact area. Wipe it off really good to try to make sure it gets a clean connection. If everything fails, it might just be dead.
