So I've had a EGO c passthrough (upgrade.. not sure if it matters) and I've had it for a pretty long time (more than a few months) and lately I haven't been getting great performance from my kanger T3s clearos.

I have dry burnt them, cleaned them, everything! and yet they seem to have just been sucking lately.

I have also tried my boge cartos and those haven't been super either (though those have never been all that great for me).

I've had poor vapor, poor flavor, etc...

Do you think its about time to get a new battery?
This is a decent time, I am thinking about getting the iTaste VW anyways.

Thanks!

There could be a lot of reasons why a T3s behaves that way after cleanings that has nothing to do with the battery going bad. For example, removal of the top wicks can saturate the coil with too much liquid and the vapor production goes down. How many times have you dry burned them? The coil material does eventually just wear out. Etc. Have you tried a new coil lately?

That, and if you re at the 2-3 month mark you could be experiencing a bout of vaper's tongue regarding any loss of flavor.

Usually the first sign a battery is going is significantly shortened time between charges. I suppose if you frequently use the pass through feature instead of letting it deplete all the way that won't help you. If you are using that pass through mode constantly you might also be shortening the life of the battery. I'm not familiar with the ego C but if that truly works as a pass through it shouldn't matter what condition the actual battery is in, it should get a constant voltage but most claiming to be pass through are actually working off the battery while it is charging.

I've had one now for over a year and another for 7 mths and both going strong. But you never know with batts.

Do you have it on the highest setting? The light should be Orange. If June "13 is your actual date for starting vaping, you could just be ready to move on to a hotter vape.

If you want to stick with the ego-c's just get a hotter coil.

If you have a multimeter you could check your battery voltage and the OHM of your clearo to see where you stand.

Fasttech is good prices and usually good service for a foreign company. I had 2 clearos DOA and they were replaced (added on to next order) without question. If it is something they need to see they have a Miami address to send returns to.

Shipping is longer than you usually get from a US company. In the past I always told people it is between a week and a half to one month. Funny thing is, it used to be every time I said that people would chime in with less than two weeks and tell their experience. What is happening with shipping out of China shows why a person should be prepared to wait longer than the norm of less than 2 weeks. Funny thing is I ordered something during the week and was planning on it being here by the end of the next week then I found out about the postal log jam in Hong Kong. Should have followed my own tips, lol. Oh well, probably the following week and a stop gap kinda fell into my lap. I don't think the log jam there will be permanent but for now orders will probably take longer than the norm.

One thing to be aware of with product quality - If it has a brand name in the description such as Kanger or Innokin, it is that brand. If for some reason the brand name isn't in the description (such as the evods are not Kanger and not listed as such) it is a knock off and you should probably check the big Fasttech thread for other people's experience with that item.

    Awesome!

Thanks, I'll keep all that in mind!

Currently I have started looking at the Vamo V2! It seems like if im going to make a jump, I might as well jump pretty high right?
Should the Vamo say its from a brand in the description?
